I’m having the same issue on our site.
If you visit https://www.mrsfrisbeesallnaturals.co.uk, the slides look fine on a large screen, but bad on a laptop. In fact, the image of Santa is completely cut off on a phone and all you see is the background and text.
It sounds like the only answer is to change from Swift Slider to Revolution Slider. I have the plugin but haven’t mastered it yet.
That’s strange – when I go back to the page, the code has disappeared! However, the image still appears when you view the page. See attachments. Why – and how – has that happened? I’ve seen it on other pages as well.
What is the best (default) way to add an image across the top of the page? Is it purely by using the Swift Page Builder / Add Element / Image? If so, what size should it be?
Even when I tried one that was 4000 px long, the proportions were stretched, which made the embedded text (within the image itself, using Photoshop) look out of focus.

It’s working now. 🙂
Thanks.
I’m running 2.2.52. When I check for updates, nothing happens. I’ve also searched for the plug in.
How do I get the update?
Thanks – got it sorted now. I was looking at the WP-config.php file for our .co.uk site and not the .com site (it can be confusing at times!).
Changed WP_DEBUG from true to false and the message has gone now.
Rui,
Any update on this? I’ve sent you admin access.
Rui,
WP_DEBUG was set to False and there doesn’t seem to be a ‘display_errors’ line in the WP-config.php file.

In fact, there’s no caption on the second image on the phone.
To clarify, the slides are there – you can move to them if you click the arrow – but they do not change automatically after the second image.
That’s strange.
I’ve removed all website data on the Safari browser and done similar on Chrome. Even tried it on Firefox, which I only use for testing, and it still stops after the second slide.
I’ll try it again in the morning.
Rui,
There was a problem (specifically, the homepage) when I posted my last comment but next morning it seemed fine. Having said that, the same thing happened the other day – fine one minute, then the problem came back.
Take it that the problem is resolved but I’ll post again if the same issue returns.
This reply has been marked as private.I’ve managed to delete the parent theme and replace it with the updated version of Atelier. I’ve also activated the child theme.
The homepage now looks like the attached image homepage02.jpg, yet when I view the homepage by clicking Customise on the child theme itself, it appears as it should be – see other attached image, homepage01.jpg
