Of course, once I finally submit a question to you I figure it out. I’m so sorry!

Here is the solution, in case anyone else is searching on this:
    1. Add a text block with ONLY a title and no body that is full width. Add these classes: mb0 pb0.
    2. Add two text blocks (each with 1/2 of my content) at 1/2 width and NO title. Add these classes to each: mt0 pt0.

    Now it looks right.

Can you please tell me if there is an easier way to do this, or if this is the correct way? Thanks so much.

Oh! You actually triggered a thought with your answer. I started searching through the Woocommerce settings and found the email settings! Duhhhhhh. I’m so sorry. I now know what I have to do. Thanks for mentioning WooCommerce, Kyle! Sorry to waste your time.

Yes, of course. That page is there. I’m only wondering about the email that gets sent to someone after they create the account. Do I have access to the contents of that email? What is that broken link at the top supposed to be?

I thought I would reply to this in case someone else searches on this topic. I want to save someone else from having the experience that I had.

I tried Regenerate Thumbnails (http://wordpress.org/plugins/regenerate-thumbnails/). This did not work. What I learned is that it will only regenerate thumbnails that are missing. (?) Apparently, anyway.

So I did some research and found this plugin – Force Regenerate Thumbnails (https://wordpress.org/plugins/force-regenerate-thumbnails/). It had pretty good ratings so I thought I would try it. I’m telling you now, do not do this. The minute I activated the plugin my images began to disappear from my site. Then nothing happened. Nothing was regenerated, but now my images were mostly gone, and the products all had broken image links, the image library had broken links, and the site was a mess. I attempted to login to my c-panel on my host, and was informed that my site had been suspended because of high cpu usage (which I assume was caused by the plugin, but also why the plugin stopped working). It took me about 24 hours to put the site back together.

I’m not sure how I should have gone about this problem, but this was not the way. Maybe deleting the thumbnails by hand through ftp, and then using regenerate thumbnails. Hopefully, I can save someone else a headache or ten. LOL.

That’s ok. I truly appreciate the great support you offer. Maybe one of these days a solution will make itself known. At least it’s not a huge deal.

Keep up the great work! 🙂 🙂 🙂

Looks like you fixed it??? All of a sudden it all works. Thank you so much! If it wasn’t you, then that is very strange, but I’m happy. 🙂

Oh wow, I read through these, and they are admittedly above my head. The second link had some possibilities but I don’t feel competent to implement them. I think I will just upload the language translation files I have edited as a part of my update process for now, unless I can miraculously figure it out.

I really appreciate you taking the time to check it out. I’m surprised that nobody else has been bothered by the interchangeable use of “shopping cart” and “shopping bag” because of the conflict between the theme and WooCommerce. (I would prefer the use of “bag” like the theme, but changing “cart” to “bag” in WooCommerce seems even more daunting than just editing the language files.)

P.S. I changed “google+” to “google” but it still doesn’t show up. And still nothing on the homepage.

Sorry to post again, but I had to remove that functions.php file from the child theme because I was unable to update social media urls without getting error messages. (Not that it was working anyway, since it had no effect on seeing the language files.)

Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /home2/…/public_html/wp-content/themes/neighborhood-child/functions.php:7) in /home2/…/public_html/wp-content/plugins/yith-woocommerce-wishlist/functions.yith-wcwl.php on line 118

I think I’m destined to have to replace the language files every time you update the theme unless there is a good way to do it without messing up something else.

This is sort of frustrating. Thanks for your time.

    The plot thickens:

Per my message above, I just noticed that if I go to another page, two of the icons, Twitter and Youtube, actually appear, but not the others. I went back and made Facebook lower case, and that worked. Google+ still doesn’t show, and nothing shows on the homepage!

    ?

I really appreciate the help, everyone. Thank you, @Barq, for chiming in, too. I did everything in the list that @Barq suggested. And this is the code I added:

    [social size=’small’ style=’light’ type=’twitter,Facebook,youtube,google+’]

The URLS for the social profiles were already filled out.

After all that, I still don’t see the icons when I look at the site. (I disabled cache, in case you are wondering.) Am I still missing something? Thank you!

I tried the second one again, this time with no error message, but it still doesn’t use the new language file. Is there something more I need to do? There is a folder in my child theme called “language”, and it contains the en_US.mo and en_US.po files. (I know those files are good because those are the ones I was originally putting into the actual theme language folder after every update. But I’m trying to put them in the child theme so I don’t have to keep doing that.)

    Confused!
