That’s perfect Melanie.
Is there also an css edit that hides the icon and black circle that displays on top of the thumb when hovering? That’s strange.
Have a look here: http://184.154.1.124/~sodafish/pages/vinyl-wall-graphics/If I click the pinterest icon (below the last image) it goes to pinterest but there are no images to choose from. It’s all blank.
Hi Ed,
After the manual update I get the following error in the header of the WP admin:
Warning: call_user_func_array() expects parameter 1 to be a valid callback, function ‘sf_envato_toolkit_credentials_admin_notices’ not found or invalid function name in /home/sodafish/public_html/wp-includes/plugin.php on line 429Add Béhance with the social profiles
Ed,
Just so you are aware of it: The build in social pinterest link does not function. The wrong one (generated with the Nextgen plugin) did function correct.Yes, that’s it Ed. Disabling the plugin fixes the issue of displaying another image
Having alternative hover states for portfolio thumbs. Like just a bit lighter or darker instead of the split screen we have now. And with the hover displayed icon on or off.
I did install some earlier but just checked and they are all inactive. Could it be they left some code?
I now have sometimes a different icon in the social share bar for ‘pinterest’. Only for pinterest, the rest of the share icons stays consistent. I’ve taken two screenshots and attached it with this message so you can see the difference.
The weird thing is the black icon still gives no images once in pinterest. But the red icon functions like it should, giving options in pinterest to choose images from. So, if now this could also work with the black icon it would be perfect.I’m not sure if it’s been requested already, so forgive me if I’m repeating something.
It would be good if the max. displayed width of the site on large displays could be limited to a one-step smaller size. At the moment the width is around 1200 px which is quite large for some purposes and requires large images too, especially for sharp retina display. An option to limit this to the second largest size (around 1000px) while still staying responsive so smaller sizes would be great.Works! Thx
perfect! Thx
Sure Melanie, here is the site in development: http://184.154.1.124/~sodafish/
You can see I have disabled search, but the main menu doesn’t align to the right, it seems the space for the search icon is still taken.Regarding text next to the logo. I have no problem modifying a php file, if you could you instruct me where I should add this? That would be great.
Thank you,
TomHi Tahir,
Here’s the page:
http://184.154.1.124/~sodafish/pages/portfolio-test/I would like the social icons just below the last blue image, only around 30px distance would be perfect. This is the distance I get when I do it with the page builder, without using any spaces. Any advice where I can tweak this would be most welcome.
Another thing regarding these social buttons. The newly added pinterest buttons don’t seem to work, could this be. If you click it it goes to pinterest without an image, just empty.
Thx,
TomI think I can illustrate it best with showing another site.
Have a look here: http://justinmezzell.com When you see this on a larger screen and start reducing the browser windows size, you see the thumbs smoothly scaling down plus also the whitespace between the thumbs is getting smaller, so it all stays balanced. When you do this here: http://dante.swiftideas.net/portfolio-one-column-standard-style/portfolio-three-standard/ You’ll see it scales down in larger steps but also the space between the thumbs stays the same. When the screen becomes small enough and the portfolio jumps to 2 columns it does get smooth though, from there on it is ok. Not before that.
