Hey Kyle, thanks for the quick reply. I installed the plugin you suggested and it worked like a charm. I actually didn’t even re-arrange from the plugin, i think just having its “auto sort” checked overrided the default and allowed the orderby=”menu_order” to take effect. Thanks again!
Here’s another article about the “orderby” parameter that appears to be missing in the sitebuilder editor:

thanks.
I have the same problem, the logo doesn’t show up with https. That plugin you’re suggesting ends up removing just about every image on the https pages, makes it worse! If you’re going to suggest that plugin can you at least tell us what settings to use? Or how to fix the logo issue without that plugin? I tried re-upping the logo like you suggested and it didn’t work. Thanks.
That worked perfectly, thanks Laranz! The problem was I had another plugin installed, WooCommerce Tweaker, and it was preventing the hierarchy to work as you guys have it on the demo. I disabled it and followed your steps and it worked. Thanks again, when you reply I know my issues will get fixed 😀
can you explain what you need to look at exactly? i’ve given you my version number. that’s all you need. i don’t need you to do it for me, i just need to know what file that code is in and where to edit it. if you can’t do that please pass my question along to someone who will help me, or explain to me why you need access to my site. thank you.
not an option. as i stated it’s heavily modified and it’s constantly being worked on. I’m using Version 1.3.4 and can’t update at this point since too many of the files have been tweeked. Please just answer as so:
1) open file foo.php
2) look for foo
3) change it to foo-b
4) donei’d really appreciate it. thanks.
I actually heavily modified the theme files. If you can just tell me what file to make that change on that’d be much appreciated.
just tried “mirloblanco’s” fix and it worked:
http://support.swiftideas.net/forums/topic/variation-dropdown-issue-will-v1-3-4-fix/
it changes the style but then Ed gives the custom css to set it back.
same issue here 🙁
weird because it works on the demo. it’s also styled different on the demo. can we get those files?
Hey melaniethomas it didn’t for me either until i cleared the cache. see if that works. three lined thingie on the top right, tools, clear browsing data, check on empty the cache, since the beginning of time.
I’m sorry but I don’t think you looked at the image I uploaded. When you upload a tall image, it gets cropped to 270px wide and stays long thus breaking grid. The image I uploaded in this thread shows exactly what I want to happen instead. I can’t explain it any better. The test product you created only fit in that size because your original image was already that ratio. If you look at the balloon image you uploaded though – which is tall – it gets resized to 270px wide and stays really long and breaks the grid.
I can’t waste any more time on going back and forth trying to explain this unfortunately. Thanks for trying but please delete this thread, I’ll hire a programmer to take a look.
Thanks Ed, can you tell us which files in the zip update this? That way I could just update those particular files. I don’t want to undo the fix you made for another issue you solved for me earlier: http://support.swiftideas.net/forums/topic/shop-products-mini-sale-items-showing-all/
Or are these fixes combined? Thanks again.Melanie it’s not anyone’s particular website, even the Personal Shopper on the Neighborhood demo itself doesn’t work on Chrome, is hard to use on Firefox and doesn’t work at all on any version of internet explorer. it only works correctly on Safari (i’m checking on windows Safari). Support, please check it yourself:
http://neighborhood.swiftideas.net/Please don’t ask for a login etc from anyone (thus causing a few more days delay on replies) and instead someone there should get the Neighborhood demo working and then post the fix files for everyone to download and replace. This should be priority since it’s not customization, it’s a bug. Thanks!
oh, that’s because i used photoshop to invidually crop and resize those images before i uploaded them. i’d like wordpress to do that though so that the person updating the site can just upload an image and not break the grid. please see the image i attached earlier for reference, or feel free to create a new product and test. thanks.
sorry, nevermind, got them both. in case it helps anyone, the contact label was correct after all, not sure why it wasn’t working at first but it fixed itself. the shopping bag text was:
.woocommerce form.cart button.single_add_to_cart_button:hover { color: #999999 !important; }
