    try turning W3 TOTAL CACHE off and run the testing again

    it has a history of conflicting with other js files – such as Revolution Slider. Just have a look at the reviews and support for W3 TOTAL CACHE.

    I am using WP Super Cache – following their recommendations

    Just had a look at a pingdom test of your website – you must have worked on it since your post and solved a lot of your issues

    Can you share what you did?

    You will probably need to up your memory limit or disable other plugins.

    The theme is heavy in plugins – if you have added more and your memory_limit is low you will have problems

    I just lost a day and a half over HTTP 500 Error

    I had added jetpack plugin – all was fine working off localhost on my computer – when I loaded the site up to the live VPS server and went to connect jetpack to wordpress.com account – instant HTTP 500 Error.

    Initially I thought I had tracked it down to a jetpack / woocommerce booster clash. I turned woocommerce booster off and I could connect jetpack without the whole site falling over. Also – the moment I connected jetpack and the site going down – if I disconnected jetpack from my wordpress.com account – the site came back – so I thought it a jetpack problem or woocommerce booster problem.

    My VPS has a lot of resources but memory_limit was (already) set to 256

    I tried the wp-config.php of
    define( ‘WP_MEMORY_LIMIT’, ‘512M’ );
    define( ‘WP_MAX_MEMORY_LIMIT’, ‘512M’ );

    but that method did not work for me

    More testing and shuffling of plugins – eventually realised it was a cumulative issue of plugins hitting my memory. Jetpack and booster are big so they were tipping the issue. I turned them on first – all ok – then turned on the rest one at a time until I got the http error 500 again – which was youtube-embed-plus (last on the plugin list). All off – activated Jetpack, woocommerce booster and youtube-embed-plus then connected Jetpack successfully – finally realised it was just too many plugins for the allocated memory.

    I eventually tried the php.ini method to increase memory_limit to 512 and it worked – all plugins on and jetpack connected – no 500 error.

    I posted full debug lists at

    Allow access to editing Mega Menu themes through their UI. I am developing in Nota.

    While I am experienced with CSS it still would be a lot quicker to do it via Mega Menu / Menu Themes.

    I am aware this already has been mentioned as a maybe.

    Part of my decision making to choose Nota was because it had Mega Menu as one of the features. Having just developed another website with the pro version of Mega Menu I was disappointed with the limiting of this product.

    Thank you for your prompt reply.

    “What are you looking to change?” back ground colours, hover states, borders – all the stuff that is normally available in the Mega Menu edit areas for themes.

    I have just finished another site with the pro version of the Mega Menu and while I am happy enough to create custom styles the theme editor is a time saver.

    If I spend just one hour longer on adjusting styles than clicking a few prompts then I have lost money.

    Just curious – I read about the “integration” of the Mega Menu and some features limited (obviously the theme edit is one) – so would buying the pro add-on break the existing integration in a detrimental way? Would it open up the theme edit?

    So far I am impressed with the theme – it certainly is the most featured packed theme I have ever worked with – which is why I was very surprised at the discontenting of the Mega Menu Theme editor – which seems contrary to having a check box and button for just about everything else.
