page speed is slow on https://www.go-all-in.co.uk/

and the performance grade on tools.pingdom.com is only 64/100 citing problems such as:

    0/100 Combine external JavaScript

    0/100 Parallelize downloads across hostnames

    4/100 Combine external CSS

    9/100 Minimize request size

I also have tried https://gtmetrix.com/ and it cites:

    PageSpeed Score
    (82%)
    YSlow Score
    (77%)

I have everything updated, WP version, Plugins and of course your new update.

I have strong “go geek” hosting via Siteground

i have W3 TOTAL CACHE installed and fine tuned

i have Cloudflare installed and fine tuned

i have a SSL https installed via Siteground

i have my homepage down to 1.5mb by optimizing my images

However the site is sluggish and takes around 6-10 seconds to just go within pages, even pages with very little on them, it is pretty imperative that we take this page speed down for my client, i don’t expect google fast but i would definitely hope for at least under 3 seconds in today’s day and age.

    can you help advise please?

try turning W3 TOTAL CACHE off and run the testing again

it has a history of conflicting with other js files – such as Revolution Slider. Just have a look at the reviews and support for W3 TOTAL CACHE.

I am using WP Super Cache – following their recommendations

Just had a look at a pingdom test of your website – you must have worked on it since your post and solved a lot of your issues

Can you share what you did?

@LinnightL yes, I also like WP Super Cache.

    – Install WP Super Cache or BWP Minify.

    – Ask your host to enable gzip compression

    – Consider serving your resources from a CDN such as MaxCDN

    – The Autoptimize plugin is great to further minify your assets: https://en-gb.wordpress.org/plugins/autoptimize/.

    – Before uploading images, be sure you correctly save them for web. Consider installing and running this compression plugin to reduce image size: https://en-gb.wordpress.org/plugins/wp-smushit/

    – Please read this great article on How to Fix: Parallelize Downloads Across Hostnames Warning

    – If you are using a cheap hosting provider your site will never be super, super fast – consider WPEngine if you want pure speed improvements.

    Thanks.
