    Hello Rui,

did a test on your Sandbox to be sure. I know what’s the issue: When i enter a color number (for example f6f6f6) and directly click save on the row element and save the page, the color number is filled in, but for some reason not registered. I need to open de row element setting again.

When i enter a color number and click somewhere else in the modal after enter the number and save the color is registered.

I want to work to fast.

Hello Rui, i hope to see the fixed page builder soon in downloads.

If you are working on it: would you please look at registering of background color in rows? I have to save a row twice to see changes (on my site and on the Sandbox demo). An other small thing is that paste a color with # is not working for background color. When i copy a color from somewhere i have to past it in a text editor and remove the # before the page builder accept the color.

    Hello Julian,

It looks like we are the only one with problems with the tab element.

Did a test this morning with the Theme demo Sandbox this morning (Because i have added some custom modification to the Theme i thought this could be my problem with the tab element, but it’s not).

I tried the sandbox demo this morning. Created a tab (within a row) with a text element + gallery slider in the first tab, and a text element + a directory map + a blank spacer in the second tab. Did some custom setting for the row (bg color + padding) Saved the page after that. Everything was fine. Now i reordered the content of the second tab (spacer). When i saved that and preview alle the settings of the row all the elements in that row are set to default styling and de gallery slider is showing the images under each other.

That’s exactly the problem that i have with the tab-element at my site. It’s a serious problem of the page builder. See screen dump after reorder and save.

Hello Ed, i skipped the tabs, but i have seen more comments here about problems with the tabs.

and sorry i don’t like the page builder. For example when changing the background color of a row: after changing the color and save the page, the color is not changed. I have to open the setting again and save the element and the page again to see the change. This is not only with Atelier but also with Cardinal (both latest version of Theme and builder). And there are more (small) issues that gives delay in design.

I agree with that. If Swift creates a custom version of VC (like the Jupiter theme and others) instead of their own page builder, this theme will rock because of the woo benefits.

When i worked on the site with this page builder and work on a site with vc later it’s a feast of speed and ergonomics. I know vc is compatible with this theme, but the basis vc is to limited…

Hello, any improvements with tabs in the page builder? There are more topics around here about messing up the page (or set al elements to default) after editing content in a tab. I redesigned my pages to not use tabs, but it’s a disadvantage.

using latest versions of all WP / Theme / Builder. Only the previous builder 1.7.7 is not breaking the layout with tabs.

    thanks

Yes, latest version of theme and pagebuilder.

Only way to show a selected category is to enable filter in the short code and hide the filter bar with css

    Hello David,

I used the latest version of the page builder. For stability i downgraded to version 1.7.7.

Most problem i have with tab content. When editing content in a tab from time to time all my settings in rows and elements are gone. This is fixed with the downgrade. I think the previous page builder is much more stable.

I have a lot of modifying because i use the theme for custom woo commerce products.

    Hello Rui,

when i add a element to a tab and save all the custom settings of the row (vertical alignment, background color and custom classes) are gone. So i have to do all the settings again.

A major problem with the builder (at my side) is that i have to save a page twice when i add a background color to a row.

One other major problem is that the page builder stops loading from time to time when i have Advance Custom Fields plugin activated. It’s a major WP plugin.

I downgraded the page builder to the latest version in previous design. Now my problems are solved.

First tried the latest update 2.2.0, still problems with registering row background color. Did not give it more try.

Went back to the old page builder: v1.7.7 problems seems to be solved now.

Same problem here with tabs. When making changes settings of tabs get lost. Is there a way to use the old page builder?

I think your pagebuilder is a big mistake. I spent a lot of time waiting for the spinning wheel and reordering of rows doesn’t work smooth. It worked better with the previous version.

But why don’t you integrate VC with adding your own elements and settings? I tried to install VC on Atelier but admin become very slow, and vc doesn’t work smooth either on the theme.

An other theme builder (Jupiter theme) has done a great job with VC and makes setting up pages very quickly with a lot of options. I stay with Atelier because of it’s Woo options but without your woo advantage i should never choose the theme because of the builder. For example: i’am missing the 12 grid a lot, 1/6 is the smallest option in your page builder. There are very good add-ons for VC to extend options.

There is still a bug with Advanced Custom Field plugin active. Pagebuilder doesn’t load from time to time and i have to deactivate and activate the ACF plugin to make it work again.

Problem found. When Advanced Custom fields plugin is activated the page builder stops loading from time to time.
This is a very common plugin with over one million users.

Would you please look at this?

    Thanks
