Thanks Ed, that seemed to fix it on Edge.
Any word on this yet guys? This is for an in-development site that is launching at the end of the month. Is there anything we could do even for a temporary fix?
Thanks.
This reply has been marked as private. That did the trick. Remember the times when IE was all we had to worry about?
Yes, I am running the latest versions of the theme and plugin, along with the latest version of WordPress.
Hi —
I wanted to check back on this as it seems like most of the issues I reported were fixed outside of one. Having the ability to add gutters between columns through the page builder again would be very useful, especially for columns using a background image or borders.
Thanks
Unfortunately, the site is just beginning development, so it is not live as of yet. I just need to know where the code is for the animated headline. I’m sure I can find it if I dig, but I figured it would be quickest to just ask.
Thanks
Hi Rui —
We swap out content in this section a lot and it is very customized, but I can give you the basic layout so hopefully you can recreate it. The row height is set to 25vh then divided 3 columns, 1/4,1/2,1/4. The 1/4 sections have a background image size of 480px x 270px and the middle section image is 960px x 270px.
Setting it up with just items of different widths is no issue, I’ve already done that on a few pages. I’m thinking more along the lines of elements with different heights, like the second row setup here: http://swiftideas.com/shop/shop-multi-masonry-boxed/.
Hey Guys —
This may be more of a feature request than feedback, but I figured I would put it here. I’d love for there to be a way to do multi-masonry style layouts for any page elements, not just portfolio or blog posts. I know I would personally use it with images/image banners or some other elements, but up until now I haven’t been able to see an easy way to do this in the page builder. If there is an easy way to do it, I’d love to know how.
Thanks
Hey Guys —
The new Page Builder did take some getting used to but I’m definitely coming around to it. It functioned great at first as well, but I’ve started running into some significant lag on some of my pages that contain a lot of elements (100+). This ranges from lag while typing, the “loading please wait” screen taking sometimes minutes to load an element, to difficulty moving elements around (feels like the builder did back when Dante first came out).
I know I may be an edge case with how many elements I throw on a page, but I wanted to report what I was seeing.
Thanks
My mistake, it seems to be fixed now. It must have been my caching that I forgot to flush that is just now catching up.
I was just going to start a thread with this issue before I found this one. I am on the latest version of both the theme and swift framework and my tabs still look and function exactly like how the issue was originally reported.
Hi Ed —
Having the option to toggle text block content on and off would be great for me as well. I can definitely see the rationale to both sides of the argument of whether to show it or not, as everything looks a lot slicker without messy content. While discovering I could name elements helped, in heavily sectioned areas like in the attached image, I feel like I’m losing some of the scale/flow of the sections on the page.
Once the option to show content is added I’ll probably play around with both options to see which I feel more comfortable with. Thanks for all your hard work.
