Hi guys,
tested this on my friend’s computer just to be sure. not working. When i hover on the account icon in the menu bar, it automatically gives me options of login or sign up.. clicking either gets me to a page that says ‘my account’ but has no info on it at all. .. so not sure what it is i’m doing wrong? do i need to edit a page called ‘my account’? thanks.August 20, 2016 at 7:25 am in reply to: image edit options not working in swift page builder #288466hi guys, its not just the image option. I am working on a product category page, using the products element in swift page builder, and it wont allow me to change how many columns are showing. i had it set for guys items, and since trying to add a sidebar widget (and then removing it), the product element has reverted to the stock settings, so now all my guys items are instead showing as ‘latest products’ which also cant be edited to get my mens products back. I’ve tried in Firefox as well, with no results.

just still getting the last two blog posts kinda all over the place and not in a grid.. wonder if its because i have only two on the last row instead of 4.. wonder if it would default to the grid if i added 2 more blog posts.
hi guys, I am using this thread, as the last support message I had on the other thread, said to please post my own topics in future.. and this issue is not resolved for me.
I have added ‘account’ to the theme option > header> right header config, and had a friend (who has never signed up for an account on my site) test it. She said that it allows her to find the ‘create account’ on hover, but when she clicks on it nothing happens.
i have recently updated my theme, my wordpress, my woo commerce and plugins so as far as i know i have the most current theme. Any help would be great thanks.
Hi Guys, found this thread when searching how to do just this very thing = add something so new customers can sign up for an account. I followed the instructions up until the ‘drop box’ comment and now I’m lost.
I’m on the woo commerce page Settings>account and I see a drop down menu that allows me to choose where to add the sign up? think thats what it means? the drop down arrow options are:
checkout
wishlist
contact
my account
shop
cart etc!not sure what to choose – what i want is for that little ‘man’ icon on the top right of my front page to work for the sign up — because when you hover on that little man, it gives options of signing in or create new account.. so that’s where i want people to sign up for a new account.
also.. i’m assuming that i have access to those accounts in terms of how much they’ve ordered over the past months? and can offer deals and sales to those customers etc.
any info is great thanks!
ah! okay thanks didnt realize that. Odd thing.. I changed the background to white, saved, looked at the front end, and it’s like the menu and logo area jumped up to the top of the page! last night the logo/menu area were about half way down the page which is why I thought the black part was a header box. Maybe just took awhile for my browser cache to catch up and the update to catch up. thanks guys. *resolved.
thanks guys, just saw this.. going to have to just be satisfied with the drop down arrows 😉 maybe some day.
Kyle thank you so much for this! Didn’t realize my laptop keyboard the ‘L’ key isnt working so I didn’t notice the typo and just carried on. This is very appreciated.
This reply has been marked as private.ok the first part makes sense.. i guess it is something i’m going to have to learn and be comfortable with. Although the previous updates all came from the dashboard and i think they worked fine – or that could have been before i added a child theme ;p
as for the security thing on the server, it wouldn’t have been anything I did, and my web host hasnt done anything – I am getting update notifications about the various plugins so not sure what’s up.. just means i need to be more aware of the support forum and check the update thread more often I guess! I’ll do the FTP thing in the next few days and see what happens.
