I’d just like to reopen this, as I’ve decided to restart my site from scratch, and this is still happening.
To test this, I’ve made a brand new, pure WordPress install. No plugins, only installed Dante and the child theme and enabled permalinks.
I’ve added 2 photos to the “Hello world!” post to test it, and I’ve got the original 2 photos (beach-clean-up-1.jpg and beach-clean-up-2.jpg), but I’ve also got 10 different sizes of each image (see the attachment).
I assumed it was one of my plugins, but I couldn’t narrow it down – that’s not a surprise when it’s clearly the theme itself which is generating them.
Now that’s awesome!
Thanks Kyle! 😀
This reply has been marked as private. No, that’s the for the right-side (login, My Account, etc). I need the font for the menu at the top left.
Thanks. 🙂
Yup, that’s got the menus sorted, thanks! 😀
Any ideas for the top menu?
Thanks again. 🙂
Hi Tahir, thanks for replying and sorry for my late response. The email notification went to my spam folder.
That works for the login text, but it makes no difference to the menus (or the top menu now I think about it).
I agree it seems bugged. Selecting a font doesn’t update the display, it just continues to show the font dropdown menu and doesn’t appear to select the font you’ve chosen. However, as Hapexi said, if you save the theme options, when the screen refreshes it has updated.
Tested on Chrome and IE11, with my dev install and a clean test one, using theme version 1.2. It did work on a previous version, but I was wanting to change the menu font.
Something for wayyyy down the line perhaps, but how about an HTML5 audio player? Ideally something which would play MP3s or OGGs depending on the browser?
Thanks for all you’ve done so far!
You have to enable columns in the theme options.
Theme Options > Page Builder Options > turn on Enable Advanced Functionality
Edit: Oops, ignore
Sorry – thought I had my own thread open. *embarressed smiley*
Thanks, it is fixed for pages, but posts are resetting themselves to always show the title.
Done. 🙂
2) Thanks for the code, which I’ve added to the theme options, but it’s all still white (I’ve highlighted the text to show it’s actually there, otherwise it’s invisible)
3) Did you make any changes to the site? Pages, the title option is still resetting itself back to whatever the theme options setting is (unticked in my case, otherwise my new home page will have a title!). Posts, after I update a post, the option in the backend does stay as what I set it at, but it has no effect on the front end (the title is always shown).
