I was able to manually update the Events Calendar PRO plugin… However, my footers still aren’t showing up. I also still don’t see Swift Framework listed in my plugins, which I’m assuming is concerning.
September 15, 2016 at 2:39 pm in reply to: Multiple issues possibly regarding Swift Framework #291938Every time I go to update the Events Calendar PRO plugin, I get the following error:
An error occurred while updating The Events Calendar PRO: Download failed. Too many redirects
How do I go about fixing this?
This reply has been marked as private.Nevermind, I resolved the issue by installing a plugin that I needed for further capabilities.
Thanks, for the quick response though!
Hello there,
I am also having this same issue, but neither of these solves worked using the custom CSS.
I am using a draft team member page that I removed the featured image on, so there is nothing in the 2nd column, and when I tried both custom css solves above, neither worked.I’d greatly appreciate another option to rework these columns if you’ve got it.
Thank you!
Hi David,
Thank you for getting back to me so quickly.
I reached out to our host and they understand what you mean but they are curious as to what your recommended setting is?

-NickHey Mohammad,
The text doesn’t appear directly on that page, but it is contained within the article titled “The Importance of Identify Theft vs. Credit Card Information Theft for Individuals,” which is the featured article within the sidebar of that page. That’s partially why I’m so puzzled as to its inclusion in the print dialogue box.

The text is actually appearing at the bottom of the print preview, not at the top. It’s the line that says “In recent years there has been several high-profile…”It still seems to be appearing there even with that added CSS.

Inputting that custom CSS didn’t seem to do the trick. I placed it into the “Custom CSS” field within the General Settings. Is there something else I might need to do to make it work?
I figured it out. Woo! There was a problem with the category structuring within a shortcode in Sidebar Four. The categories weren’t separated by a comma, so it threw off the whole functionality of the share banner somehow.
I’m reconstructing the page and trying to replicate where exactly the problem comes in at and it looks like everything is fine before you add in a sidebar, specifically Sidebar Four. I tested Sidebar Three and it appears to work just fine.
It looks like the test page without any content shows the sharing buttons just fine. Which means that there must be some code within those pages that is blocking the share ribbon from showing. Hmm…
