Disabled all plugins, including oAuth Twitter plugin, re-enabled plugins, deleted twitter slider, inserted new one, emptied cache, that seems to have done the trick now. Twitter feed showing up and page isn’t cutting off anymore.
I have the exact same issue as mentioned above: oAuth twitter plugin breaks my page – everything under the revolution slider is gone once I activate the plugin. Tried deleting the twitter sliderusing page builder as @robthijs did and adding it back, no change. Plugin and twitter slider configured correctly. Also posted here: http://support.swiftideas.net/forums/topic/fix-for-oauth-twitter-feed-2-1-4/#post-40496
oAuth twitter feed plugin breaks my page. On my homepage it shows the slider below the menu and logo, and below the slider everything is missing after activating the plugin – no error messages as mentioned in previous threads. Deactivated my other plugins to test for conflict, nothing. The oAuth plugin is setup correct. I have the latest theme, plugin, and wordpress versions.
Looked for the line mentioned by @n8-b and it is correct in my functions.php
Am I missing something?November 20, 2013 at 7:23 am in reply to: Having Problems or Issues with XML Demo Content Upload? Try This Solution #32231Hi Josh
The only description that actually worked for me was the one by blueocto. You will need to access your phpmyadmin, etc. If you’re not too familiar with this (I just looked at YouTube tutorials until I got it right), you could perhaps even ask your Host to have a look at her link to her site where she describes this process and see if they can do it for you.
Hope it helps

After some extensive research I have downloaded a script called “searchreplacedb2.php” – not sure if you are familiar with it but it supposedly is used when moving entire sites, but has a search & replace function for database table entries. In any case, it seemed to have found and replaced several lines of the “http://31.25.188.124/~bunnies1” mentioned by @blueocto with my url, and I am hoping this will be all now? It has been over a month and I need to start populating the site with actual content.

In any case. I am concerned that step 7b will affect my website, especially when it comes to indexing it on google for instance. Im in the process of developing my site and would realy like to get the basics sorted.I used “http://ismyblogworking.com/” to see if there are any issues, and indeed, it does read that my site is broken! Also allowed search engines to index my site so I’m not sure yet what the main issue is, but I’d still love an answer to my previous question.

October 31, 2013 at 8:40 am in reply to: Having Problems or Issues with XML Demo Content Upload? Try This Solution #29434Hi @blueocto. Ive sent you a mail couple of days ago. Would be great if we could have input from the @SwiftIdeas team here as well.
Since my last post, Ive installed a fresh WP with a new database, followed the instructions by blueocto once more but again, getting a “page not found” error when I use the “search & replace plugin” as described. It seems however that the demo content is finally there!!!
How important is this 7b step? Can I manually replace the links or are there any other suggestions?
Cheers
October 28, 2013 at 2:36 pm in reply to: Having Problems or Issues with XML Demo Content Upload? Try This Solution #28910As a last resort, I followed @blueocto instructions step by step, and it all seemed to be working until I reached step 7b.
When I enter the “http://31.25.188.124/~bunnies1 into the “Search For” box (or any box for that matter) and enter my URL like “http://mydoimain.com” in the “Replace with”, I get a 404 – page not found error
Any idea what ight be causing this?
Have you installed the woocommerce plugin yet? I think I remember getting that error when I first installed the theme. Just go to plugins and install all the recommended plugins and it should be fine.

Not sure how I can edit/or delete my previous post, thus a follow up:
Ive red through every post and rant on this thread and pretty much tried everything but @blueocto s solution – as I’m not too familiar with many of the steps required, so I am leaving that as a last option.
After spending another two hours chatting with my very patient hosting company, I have managed to upload the 7 split xml files via the RSS importer in wordpress (using the wordpress importer was giving me everything from Internal Sevice errors, to then page 404 not found, to blank pages –> see last post)
All 7 uploaded strangely enough – yet not everything was a-okay. There where alot of posts, and comments however none of the pages or media files where imported. I tried one last time using the wordpress importer for the 7 xml files. 404 errors with each – BUT…i now have on my site:
1023 Posts
79 Pages
9 Categories
49 Tags
289 Comments (lol?)
etc…Can anybody who actually managed to upload the demo content confirm how these numbers compare to theirs after a successful upload?
The theme still doesn’t look right and image links seem to be broken, hence I feel that my way of uploading the 7 xml files has failed?
Not sure what the old one looked like, but I’m digging the support site. Keep up the good work guys!
October 22, 2013 at 4:36 pm in reply to: Having Problems or Issues with XML Demo Content Upload? Try This Solution #27788Thanks for the post Hunch.
How long should this import take for the full xml file (compressed to .gz)? Working on a 8mb internet line.
After a lot of issues importing any of the demo content files, I’ve followed Hunchs’ explanation step by step, made my hosting company change php file limits, even the crossing your fingers part. Now my fingers feel like mush – finally Im not getting any errors, but my page has been blank for the last 3 hours after hitting submit/import.
I know you said “Wait & let it work its magic uninterrupted”, so I am still clinging on, not to keen to leave my macbook in the office over night.
