Above I wrote that the feature was included in Theme Options > Archive/Category Options, which is true, but the actual spot to set this for the site non-archive/category posts is in Theme Options > Default Meta Options.

Check there and set those options for global Pages/Posts.

That would be great, thanks, Cosmin!

Ed – I’m not sure what requirements there would be to add, specifically, the Custom Menu option to the Builder. If it is more than necessary/easy, I understand letting it go. If, however, it is usually a default for Visual Composer and can be “turned on” again with only a little trouble, you would have a grateful customer!

Thanks, regardless, for taking the time to read and respond to our forum tickets, etc. We appreciate it!

    Hi mikemin81,

I’m not sure I can be of much help but one thing you might check is that the Permissions for the folders leading up to the wp-includes/js/tinymce folder are also set to 755. For instance, the js folder and the wp-includes folder.

If those are already at 755, we can explore further but that is what did it for me.

Happy to see if it can get resolved for you.

(Updated to 1.4.3 and don’t know if anything was specifically changed but it’s working for me – no more 404 Error. Thanks!)

I see is actually an included feature in Theme Options > Archive/Category Options.

I guess I just didn’t see it before/know it would work with New Posts.

Would still love some default options for the Blog for checkboxes like “Full Width Media Display” and “Include social sharing” – these have checkboxes individually in each post to turn “ON” or “OFF”. Would be cool to be able to do that “Globally” in the Theme Options.

    Thanks, Flexform and SwiftIdeas!

Hi Cosmin – I am having the same issue: 404 Error when clicking the shortcode generator. Can you post whatever it was that you found worked for lao3d?

    Thanks! 🙂

    Hi cknapp5,

I see what you mean. There was an update to the theme (1.4.3) – did that happen to reach you yet?

Also, did your host have anything to say? I’ve been impressed with the level of support I’ve received from my host so I wonder if you’d have the same experience?

Lastly, WPBakery’s Visual Composer seems to be what is driving the Swift Page Builder – that makes sense! (though I could be wrong).

The image loader seems to work for me (installed Flexform this morning and updated. I wonder if it’s a plugin or php, or random bug). I hope they can write back to you soon!

Hey cknapp5 – I’m not a pro, but it looks to me from the first line of your error code that it could be a memory size limit with the file your uploading and/or your host.

If it was me, I would contact my host and see if they recognize this and if so, if they can increase the memory limit (again, I wish I knew more and could tell you for sure, but I think this is in the php.ini file).

They may say, “We can’t help you with that.” or they may say, “Oh yeah, sure thing. Hold on one second.”

Keep us posted! It might help someone else along the way.

PS I’m not the developer of the them nor even an official “developer” but that is what I would try while you’re waiting. Good luck!

    Hi Swift Ideas,

I agree with dekket: a button to make all blog posts with or without a default sidebar (left, right, both) would be great!

Thanks for taking our input! 🙂

UPDATE: It appeared to be a Permissions issue with the folders leading to …wp-includes/js/tinymce

Permissions were at 775 and needed to be at 755.

If this happens for you/others, check your permission for the folders leading to the wp-tinymce.php folder.

    Thanks!

PS In the normal WordPress Visual Editor, the toolbar is not there – maybe this is connected (TinyMCE)?

In other words, none of the “buttons” (Bold, Italic, Alignments, etc.) are present.

So Swift Page Builder button doesn’t do anything and the Visual Editor Toolbar is not there.

Thanks for letting me know if there’s anything I can do!
