CSS – font-weight: bold;
Looks horrible with my Google Fonts because I can only choose 1 weight in the theme options. I have Open Sans 400 chosen for my standard body copy & when I use font-weight: bold; the CSS applies a faux bold that looks just awful & blurry. I would like to have the option to embed all necessary available styles that Google web fonts provides for a font family so that my website displays the REAL bold or italic or light, etc, etc created specifically for that font family & NOT the FAUX bold. Thank you so much for taking feedback & listening to your users! You guys rock!I am trying to add an icon box. No it does not work. I’m not sure if you are trying to ask me something else but used the wrong words?
Update: I would love to see default meta options for Posts & Pages. But especially for posts since they are produced much more often & more consistently than pages. Doing this would allow us to set default meta options (like Thumbnail Type, Thumbnail Image, Post Detail Type, Post Detail Image, Page Title Background, Include Author, Include Social Sharing, Include Related Articles, etc.). We could set options for the way we typically like to see our posts instead of having to change the same options every time we create a new post (especially if someone is a daily blogger). Could be listed under Theme Options > Blog Options? This would also take care of my previous request. Thank you for asking for requests!
I would love to see a place to upload a custom default post image under Theme Options > Default Meta Options. Currently, the only way for me to easily change the default featured image is by replacing the parent theme image file wp-content/themes/dante/images/default-thumb.png (but unfortunately the custom replacement will get replaced with parent theme updates).
February 15, 2014 at 12:51 am in reply to: Template Overrides (WooCommerce): Versions 2.0.3 Out of Date #49102I managed to revert even further back to WooCommerce 2.0.20 & now everything is ok for now. I will be looking forward to the new Neighborhood update that works with the latest version of WooCommerce. I will definitely be waiting before I try to update again (until everyone seems to have the kinks ironed out) because that was a disaster!

I am still unable to add a variable product to my cart. The simple products work fine, but the variable product add to cart feature is broken.
Works beautifully Mohammad! Thank you!
For any other user who reads this, you should note that you need to copy the header.php file from the Dante parent theme and paste it into the Dante child theme. Then, edit the child theme’s header.php (with the code Mohammad provided) so that you won’t lose the changes when you update to the latest version of Dante.
Update Page Button in More Convenient Location
I noticed there are 2 great place to add a quick feature:
1. within the Swift Page Builder sticky header (present on the edit page/post screen that has buttons “Choose Elements”, “Pre-Built Pages”, “Custom Templates”, “Clear All Content”
2. within the black admin bar that runs across the screen when logged into your WordPress site – the one that contains “Howdy, User Name”
There are so many features, elements, & meta options within the edit screen (which I appreciate!!!) that it takes a while to scroll through them all. Adding a more convenient “Publish/Update” button for pages/posts in either of the locations listed above would save one from having to scroll in search of the “Update” button at the top of the page/post edit screen.
I would love to have the icon boxes and animated icon boxes (within the page builder/shortcodes) accept my own icons without having to add custom CSS for each and every box. If there was an option to upload custom icons for each box (instead of having to use Font Awesome or Gizmo) it would be much more flexible for anyone wanting to create a customized look for their own theme.
I finally figured out a better wat – so there is no need for me to use the page slider settings. MY SOLUTION: I used the page builder’s “Text Block (Full Width)” element & inserted my LayerSilder shortcode [layerslider id=”1″]. This worked perfectly & I can place it anywhere on the page! Awesome!
OK, thank you for your reply Ed! I tried your suggestion and I get absolutely nothing showing on the page. Is there something else I can try? Just to make sure – When I say I am using the full width LayerSlider I mean I am using the actual LayerSlider Plugin http://codecanyon.net/item/layerslider-responsive-wordpress-slider-plugin-/1362246.
I changed this in the cart.php. The file is nested within other folders in the parent theme. I put the new file in my child theme folder, it is not being used. How do I store it in my child theme (so that it will not be replaced on updates)?
I edited line 407 in header.php to this:
<?php echo do_shortcode(‘[layerslider id=’.$rev_slider_alias.’]‘); ?Now I can use my layerslider id in the page meta to display layer slider full width instead of revolution.
I would also like this functionality. I am 100% sure I am using the latest version (1.3.4) of Neighborhood & the header.php file does have 240 lines. There is no line 407. Please help me figure out where to put the code that will allow me to use the full width LayerSlider by using the Revolution Slider page builder component. Thank you in advance!
WOW! Exactly what I needed – thanks for uploading this update!
