    Hi,

I’ve tried different standard embed html codes from youtube and also the widget code twitter gives to embed twitter in webs. I only had to copy-paste the standards and I thought it is supposed to work, isn’t it?

I remember I’d done it in flexform template before buying Supreme and it worked there in a text box. But here it doesn’t. As I told you, I have tried the text and the Raw.

Seems I’m not very lucky with your templates, 🙁

    Thank you.

    Hi Ed,

As I have told when I opened the issue, I have already tried other accounts and it only fails with the twitter account the api was made for. With others it works perfect.

And also, I have tried if it could be a failure in the account, but updates correctly in other sites.

Than makes me think that the problem should be somewhere here. It seems something is fixed since the other day, when you solved it the first time. 🙁

    Thanks.

    Hi Ed,

Twitter Feed Screen Name was already blank, and so it was the Cache Duration blank. I have changed this to 600 and nothing happens. Any other idea?

    Thank you.

    Hi Ed,

It does not show RT’s, Replies, or anything I publish on that twitter account in any way. The account publish correctly and works correctly connected to other sites as hootsuite. I have tried publishing from hootsuite and from the main twitter account, and it doesn’t work with any of them.

I have already tried again now, just before writing you, and it still doesn’t work.

In one of the tests, I got the twit displayed after unabling and abling again the widget, but I never got it again, (even trying the unabling-abling), and now, a few minutes after deleting the testing twitt from twitter, it is still displayed on the web, but none of the other twitts has been published. There is no update on it, that’s why I think it is failing.

    Hope you can help me.

    Thank you.

    HI Melanie,

The issue started when I bought the theme. The first reference is in this one:
    http://support.swiftideas.net/forums/topic/twitter-api-v1-1-update/

After no help in that one, I opened other one, and finally, after a few weeks I thought it was solved. Here you are the link: http://support.swiftideas.net/forums/topic/twitter-api-is-not-working/

    Hope you find it useful.

    Thank you.

    Hi!

I have tried, and it is ok now.
The design of the page was lost, but made it again and now everything is working perfectly.

Please excuse me for the delay in my answer.

Thank you very much for your help! 🙂

    Hi, Melanie,

I want the author info not to display ONLY in some of the posts, and I want it to be displayed in some others.

As I understood it, in the theme, there is an option in the ‘Main detail options’ where you can find “Include related articles”, “Include author info” and “Include social sharing”, so you can check or uncheck the option you want for each post.

Maybe I didn’t understand it right. Do you mean I have to go to the code for each post? Then what are the main detail options for?

    Hi,

I don’t understand what you mean. You mean I have to change something somewhere?

I don’t want to disable that option, just want to be able to chose in which ones that info is seen and in which it is not. Isn’t it supposed that the only thing I have to do is check/uncheck the box depending on the option I prefer for every post?

Then how can it be solved?

Sorry about the setup, I will send it to you, :).

    Hi,

Yes, I have tried, and unless there is an update I didn’t get, it didn’t change. As I already told you in my previous posts, it has NEVER worked for me. It means it did not work with or without other plugins.

    Thank you.

    Hello,

NO, I don’t have the Twitter oAuth for Developers plugin enabled and set up because, as I already told you, it breaks the contents of the web when I try. (Just in case, I have tried again 2 minutes ago, before writing this).

In your post from JUNE12, I read “We’ve just pushed an updated theme version to update the Twitter assets within the theme, in line with the new v1.1 of Twitter’s API. The v1.1 update requires oAUTH access, so we’ve had to incorporate that into how the theme pulls in Tweets.”
I bought Supreme Theme version 1.4 on JULY8 so it is supposed the last version at that moment, and I think it should have already installed all the modifications to make the plugin work, am I wrong?

The Twitter oAuth for Developers plugin has NEVER worked for me, neither sidebar nor page builder, NOTHING. And of course, Twitter api doesn’t work either.

I understand I’ve bought the theme updated and with plugins working with no change in the code needed, isn’t it?

    Thanks.

    Hi!

Is this the update you talked about in your post last JUNE 12?

After that, some people answered saying they had problems with it, and I did too. You can see my posts on JULY 16, and JULY 28, (the last post there).

The fact that there are more posts than mine noticing the same problem makes me think that it was not fixed at that moment, (in case that this is the update you are talking about), and also, the fact that the twitter plugin has NEVER worked for me since I have installed the theme makes me be sure it has nothing to be with other plugins installed after that.

As long as I didn’t get any answer after JULY 28, or any update or anything about it, I think you didn’t do anything about it, and tired of waiting, I opened this new post.

As I told before, maybe it was solved and I missed the solution somehow, in that case, please let me know, if not, please try to help me this time.

    Thank you!
