I’m not sure how this got marked resolved, but it is not. Apologies if I bumped that. Any advice on the issue?
This reply has been marked as private. Thanks for confirming that I’m using the latest version of the theme but please address the issue. Applied sidebars are not showing up. Please advise.
thought i marked this as resolved earlier… oops
Awesome, thanks for clearing that up!
So manually adding those image sizes for WordPress to generate via media settings isn’t necessary?
The Content Images part of the documentation. Also here: http://uplift.swiftideas.com/documentation/2014/06/21/content-image-sizes/
Thanks, much appreciated. We’ve found the slider to be very difficult to be precise with.
Additionally, I just tried setting the top padding of Test page to 30 and it reverted to what you had set. Very odd.
Try this on the Sample Page. I’m not sure why it worked on your Test page. Use 30 as the amount. I can’t get amounts to stick. If I apply that amount to vertical padding, save the page, go back into the design tab, the amount won’t be there. I just tried it again.
Kyle – any page. There’s currently only the default installed WP pages / content. -Paul
This reply has been marked as private.Kyle – everything is up to date. As a matter of fact it’s a brand new WordPress install I created yesterday for testing Uplift. We had similar issues with the Cardinal theme. I suspect it’s actually a Swift Framework issue. -Paul
Ed – that’s awesome. So are these images automatically generated by the theme whenever images are uploaded? If so, would it therefore not be necessary to establish (via WordPress Media Settings) the new image sizes listed here?: http://uplift.swiftideas.com/documentation/ -Paul
April 20, 2016 at 5:38 pm in reply to: Use the %portfolio-category% tag in the Portfolio permalink base #262822David – That linked example does sound like we want to do. But I failed to mention that we might want the option to use the Portfolio content type for other purposes. Would it be better to create a custom content type that’s based on Portfolio instead? -Paul
