    Hi David,

http://d.pr/i/1ctqv is correct – I am referring to the middle icon for add a product to the Wishlist.

I would like rel=”nofollow” to be added to the links generated by the theme for this “add to wishlist” icon. The “add to cart” icon adds the rel=”nofollow” already so I am not sure why this does not happen with the wishlist icon.

As I understand it, if there are lots of product images in a ecommerce site with this wishlist icon then there will be lots of links generated with “wishlist” in url which could make search engine crawlers think your site is all about wishlists and hence affect seo. It seems the Wishlist plugin developers see this as an issue and have added it to the December update. I believe Swift should make the update to their theme as well. I would prefer not to have to make changes to our child theme.

    Thanks for your help,

    Hi Mohammad,

I have had a look at trying to using Page Builder for creating a new page style for Single Blog Posts but I can’t work out how to do this? I am not asking to change the blog page that shows all posts but the page style for all individual post pages. I certainly don’t want to have to use Page Builder every time I want to add a new post. I just want to change the existing page style a little for all blog posts.

Please have a look at this page: https://purenaturesbaby.com/motherandbabyproducts/first-light-organics-range/ – it is a single blog post page using the Standard page style for the Atelier theme. I would like change the page style for all blog posts so that the image is half the width it is now (on desktop and larger screens) and the div post-info contents is next to it. Can this be done with css or do I need to edit the template file?

    Thanks,

Ok, so I guess the answer is no. I will try creating one with Page Builder.
    Thanks,

    Hi Guys,

The new page builder is a great improvement but like others have mentioned, I have issues with selecting elements from the popup window. It seems the issue arises when you scroll through the list of elements and then try to select one – as you move the mouse to select the desired element, the popup window moves. I get around it by right clicking mouse. I use Chrome and IE on a Windows PC.

I am also have issues with the Products element. If I choose Categories for the Asset Type and select the categories I want included, it is ignored and shows all categories with a thumbnail. Also it seems to ignore the number of columns specified and always shows 3.

    cheers,

    Hi,

The link you provided did not work but I am referring to the icons for the wishlist and the links created. I think it would be good if Swift did implement changes to add the rel=”nofollow” to links created by the theme for the “add to wishlist” icon that appear on the product images in shop. The plugin owner added the rel=”nofollow” to their update in December 2015 to improve SEO and I believe Swift should make changes to incorporate that update and stop the Atelier theme over-riding it.

    Thanks,

    Hi Mohammad,
Sorry if my question was confusing for you. My question is relating to the Atelier theme. We started with the Convoy demo and my question is about alternative layouts done by Swift with smaller blog post images or a way to change the image size for single blog posts. Can you tell me if there are any alternative layouts by Swift for single blog post – with small image?

    Regards,

    Hi Kyle,

Can I please ask about this topic?

Our demo version of Atelier had woocommerce settings for image sizes as follows:
700 x 904 for Catalogue and Single Product images and 120 x 178 for thumbnails.

If I reduce the image settings down and load smaller sized images, do I also need to use the Regenerate Images plugin that is mentioned in the knowledgebase article?

    Thanks,
    Iris

    Hi David,

    1) Thanks for the css – it worked and I now get the wishlist icon on phones.

    2) Is there a way to add the rel=”nofollow” to links created by the theme for the “add to wishlist” icon?

    Regards,
    Iris

    Hi David,

    1) I don’t know what you mean by “you have changed this” or “if you revert back”? All versions of our domain url redirect to https://purenaturesbaby.com/motherandbabyproducts/ We have had the SSL installed for a while and WP was always located in the motherandbabyproducts folder. Or do you mean we have changed the layout of our home page? We have but QV , Wishlist etc are still activated.

The QV buttons show on our website for both desktop and small screens. I was referring to the wishlist icon (seen when you mouse over the product image) which does not show on small screens. Also, when the theme goes to a small screen the columns change from 3-4 columns to one column as part of the responsive code so I think there should be enough space?

    2) I think you may have misunderstood – I am talking about the Wishlist plugin and the wishlist links NOT product links. The links for the Add to Cart icon have rel=”nofollow” but the links for Add to Wishlist icon do not. See the examples below:

    <i class=”sf-icon-add-to-cart”></i><span>Add to cart</span>

    <i class=”sf-icon-wishlist”></i>

On WordPress support forum, YITHEMES indicated they had added the rel=”nofollow” to “add to wishlist” anchor in the plugin templates. You can see it with this link: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/nofollow-on-wishlist-link

I am wondering why the nofollow is not appearing on the wishlist links for Atelier? I have the latest versions of theme and plugins installed.

    Regards,
    Iris

    Hi David,
    Thanks for your email.

    1) Yes, I think it is a bug. I will remove the button in the meantime.

    2) Ok, I would appreciate further investigation. I thought Twenty15 was an alternative theme that comes with WP install and therefore should not be active. Does the Atelier theme need it to be active?

    3) I have implemented the custom css you suggested and added additional css to remove author from single post page and it solves the problem. However, I think there is a bug as I have enabled ‘Single Author Blog’ and turned off ‘Default Include Author’ under the Theme settings.

    Regards and thanks,
    Iris

    Hi David,

Thanks for your response. Further to your comments per issue with blog…

    1) I followed your instructions and successfully installed Swift Framework 1.7+ version but it made no difference. The ‘View All Articles’ buttons on home page – still just reload the home page when clicked instead of going to /magazine/feature-articles/ or /magazine/store-news/ If you inspect element with developer tools there is no link for the a href.

    2) The problem only appears when viewing a blog post and then you click on a tag in the right-hand-side sidebar. The relevant blog posts for the tag display correctly but when you scroll down to the footer, the widget for displaying recent posts goes strange in that some of the blog titles are numbers and if you click on one these – you get a 404 error. Please see attached PDF of screen shot – I have highlighted areas on screen with red circles. Also note, this issue was also occurring if you clicked on one of the blog categories (Feature Articles or Store News) in the sidebar but I have since fixed this by adding “Magazine” to the Category base field under Permalink Settings. I tried adding “tags” to Tag base under Permalink Settings but it has made no difference.

    3) The issue of Author showing even though Single Author blog is enabled has not been fixed with update of Swift Framework.

    Any other thoughts?
    Thanks,
    Iris

    Hi Martin,

My apologies – I did not provide the full url. It should be https://purenaturesbaby.com/motherandbabyproducts/magazine/ though interestingly for me https://purenaturesbaby.com/magazine/ does redirect to https://purenaturesbaby.com/motherandbabyproducts/magazine/

Please refer to original post which discusses 3 issues with links to blog that I am trying to fix.
    I appreciate your help.
