Within the permalink structure settings, every other common setting within permalinks works (when saved), except ‘common structure’ which is the one I want.

Hi there,

I changed the permalinks to default as you requested. I checked my blog article and yes it appeared again.
However…I then tried to change the permalinks back to custom and clicked save but when I click save, the permalink structure automatically goes back to default?? Any idea why?

After updating my template to the latest one and updating wordpress to version 4, I have found this problem again! One of my slider images was getting cropped so I found this topic again and altered the code which I was told to do about a month ago.

Now I need to regenerate all my images again! Will I need to alter the code and regenerate all my images EVERYTIME I update my wordpress template etc??

Hi there,

Still no navigation links.

Still no top banner google adsense banner

I only have one top right banner 468 x 60. But this should be on a rotating plugin (adrotate) with another banner every 6 secs. So 2 banners (same size) should be rotating in and out every 6 secs.

I still don’t have a twitter link feed at the bottom of the page.

Hi there,

I have activated the parent theme. Everything is back again, my ads and navigation links etc. But I’m still confused, Have I to leave the parent theme activated and continue to use the parent theme or have I to use the child-theme? I don’t want to update my theme in the near future and lose any changes which have been made to the template.
