    Hi Dave,

WPML has finally been completely deactivated and deleted from my system and database, however I am still have the problem of “new product” and “new page” defaulting to “new gallery”.

You can see in the screenshots below that the title is “Add New Page” and “Add New Product” but in both cases, the permalink defaults to a “gallery” and the gallery categories are the only categories present.

Any ideas about how to get this fixed asap? 🙂 I’d really like to get my site back online since it’s been broken for almost a week because of WPML!!

Also, I am still not able to upload any new media (it remains “crunching” and then doesn’t add) and the media display is quite strange again — the grey blocks below are also coming from my “galleries”.

Also, I all my plugins (swift framework) and themes are up to date.

    Thanks so much,
    Amy

    Hi Rui —

Okay thanks I have already created a ticket but they are much less responsive than you all, thanks again. I will reach out again if (once WPML have been either fixed or deleted) I am still having the problem with New Product or New Page = New Gallery.

    Thank you,
    Amy

A friend of mine changed a setting for the errors, you can see them now instead of just “Error 500”

    Hi Rui –

I thought that I responded to your message but it looks like it didn’t go through (haha everything in my life is breaking!!!)
It seems that deactivated the wishlist plugin brought back my plugin page (yay!!) as well as the ability to remove things from my cart. Woo hoo! If you’re okay with it, I will go ahead and delete that plugin forever because i dont use it.

However I am still unable to add a new page or a new product (error 500) and I am also unable to edit this one product for some reason:

I believe that if you temporarily deactivate the WPML plugin (feel free to do this) that is when you will see the product page and new page feature defaulting directly to galleries and not product or page.

However, good news, it looks like the media display is back to normal, however Im not able to add new media..

I might come back later with more things I find that are weird :O But for now sending this along…!

Thanks again for all your help here Rui

    Hi,

What are some of the different ways to re-upload the theme files? Because I now have an Error 500 page when I am trying to access Appearance > Themes and so I cannot see the page. This is also the case when I try to access the “Plugins” page.

    Thank you,
    Amy

Hi Rui — what do you mean you tried to use twenty sixteen?
Also, if I am to upload the theme files, won’t I lose a lot of my settings: the work I have done?
I have used a lot of Custom CSS directly within the theme options but no custom code..

    Thanks,
    Amy

    Hi Rui

Thanks so much for your response. I have now deactivated all plugins except for WooCommerce and Swift Framework. Please feel free to go onto my account and test this on your own. I can send you the login informations agian if necessary.
    A few points:

    1) – I still cannot remove products from my cart. I try removing them one by one and when I refresh the page, they are still in my cart.
    2) – When I go to edit any page, it is no longer on the default of the swift page builder, but in regular text form (see screenshot)
    3) – The Media Library view has completely changed, it’s no longer user friendly at all and I cannot add any new media – it remains “crunching”. (see screenshots)
    4) When I try to create a new page or product, yes, I am still automatically pushed to create a gallery with only gallery categories and a gallery permalink

Is anyone else having these kinds of problems with Swift/ WooCommerce?
    Thanks in advance,
    Amy

    Hello team,

I know it says this will move me back to the end of the support queue but I am just gently following up because this is getting quite dire. Please feel free to go into my back office and take a look around, something weird is going on. With WPML, yes, but even with WPML completely deactivated, I am still having problems and I think they are aligned with the theme and the update I did last week. Thank you very much in advance.

This problem has since been resolved – the images (only on the eshop page) were all switched to full width after I updated swift. I do have another issues but will post is seperately. Thank you, Amy

I apologize for not being more exact – I am looking to:

    1. Reduce the height of the “Add to Cart” and Quantity buttons

    2. Reduce the font size for the site’s breadcrumbs

    3. Remove the space (in the screenshot) between the share buttons and the grey line above “Description” + remove a bit of the space between that same grey line and the word “Description”

    4. Lastly, if I’d like to reduce the size of the font used in general (in the screenshot for example text such as “Whether you have selected an HJ Design…”), should I do so directly in the overall settings with “Body Font” or is the font used for products different than the global “Body Font” for the site?

    Thank you!

Hi, great thanks so much !

Here’s the product with the “Specify Customization” that i’d like to reduce in size if possible:
    http://www.newsite.hellojonesie.com/product/diy-white-unisex-t-shirt/
Do you have an custom CSS for that?

With all the different reductions, things are slowly getting to where id like them to be (without needing a developer!) 🙂
However, I mentioned above — any way to reduce some of this extra white space between the sections (1. Between product title, divder and product price 2. Between the variation drop down menus and the “Specify Customization” or 3.between the share buttons and description)

I’d also like to reduce the height of the “share” section if possible.

Lastly, I’d like to also play around with the size of the “Add to cart” button and the Quantity clicker to it’s left.

I really appreciate all of your help as I know I’m being quite needy.
    Thanks so much!
    Amy

Hi David, thank you that was super helpful!

Sorry you weren’t able to access the site – my server is having loading issues 🙁 Something I am working on.

For the Custom CSS, that looks great I just have a bit more to do…

    – What code can I use to remove the “SKU” and “Category” underneath the add to cart button on all products?
    – Also, I imagine it’s like product title and price, but how can I reduce the size of the font of my variation title? In the screenshot it’s “specify customization”. I am using the product add ons plugin purchased from woocommerce.
    – What about reducing the “Share” font for posting on social networks and even making the “add to cart button + quantity” a bit smaller?

Lastly, it is possible to remove most of the white space between the product title, the grey divider line and the product price?

    Thanks so much!
