Ok, I’ll look into it again! Thanks!
I did it!! It worked!! 😀
Only thing (at least so far) is that the translations from the swift language file are gone again. I know I have asked about this before, and I told the guy who helps me with this where the files should be, so I think they should be in the correct location now? Would you be able to check for me why this keeps happening?
My host does do backups, but it takes days to have them refer back. I’ll ask them about the staging environment!
I think I’ve only done custom css, that doesn’t count as core theme code, right?
I’m thinking that it might be better to wait so that I can launch at the time I have told everyone I will, and then deal with any problems later on… Is that ok to do, or will it cause trouble (forced updates or incompatibility issues)?
What would you advice me to do, considering the launch tomorrow? I see that both woocommerce and wordpress describe their updates as major…
It seems to be a bit on and off – hope it’s fine now! Thanks!
Nothing will change then, right? I am launching my webstore tomorrow, and am really worried about stuff going wrong. Will it be safer to wait a little bit?
And now it’s stopped working again…
Thank you! I’ve finally had help doing that, and now things appear to be ok (haven’t checked the whole site yet). Is now the time to update wp and wc too, or should I wait? How about Revolution slider?
No, all I’ve done today is try to install the new swift framework plugin and added some css to fix the search box. I have no idea why it works now – but I hope it continues to do so!
I go to Appearance/Install plugins. On top of the Install Required Plugins page is the Swift Framework plugin, marked as Required, and Not Installed. I click on Install, and it says (loosely translated from Norwegian):
Downloading installation package
Unpacking
Installing…
Target folder already exists. /home/3/n/naturalglow/www/wp-content/plugins/swift-framework/
Installation failedI just get an error message!
I have waited to update wp and wc – should I do that now? Will that help? Panicking!
I can’t see it there, because the whole thing has uninstalled itself!
It seems to work, but I can’t be sure, because my page appears to be falling to pieces! (I’m literally close to tears right now.) Everything looks wrong and the photos are gone and I’m being told to install swift framework (which I didn’t uninstall), but I get an error message when I try to do that. Please help!!
Hmm, should I just upload the file again, then? I don’t like that this suddenly changes for no apparent reason…
