Yes you can, but you need to move it later to the child theme or in the next update the changes will go away.

No, I didn’t say that the slider would be released on the next update. We don’t have a date yet.
The only error I’m seeing is in one of the files modified in the child theme.
You need to compare it with the one from the parent theme and copy changes across.

This error from Popup Maker seems to be causing it.
can you try do deactivate Popup Makes(also check if you have the latest version)
