A solution involving some combo of css and child theme code would be ideal.
Don’t want to have to modify core theme files that will be overwritten every time I update Cardinal.
Yea the problem appears isolated to the child theme.

Update – I have isolated the issue to the Cardinal child theme.
1.61 works fine on my install with the main Cardinal theme enabled, but when the child theme is enabled, the problems above arise…
