You did! Thank you ever so much. 🙂 🙂 🙂
I don’t need a “find and replace plugin”. I know how to do a find and replace using Text Wrangler or any editor. That’s not my question. (But thank you.)
First, the problem of everything changing to lower case when I open to edit is solved. Yay. Thank you for that.
But, as I said above, that solution created another problem, which was originally solved in this thread:
Essentially, I want to have a full width text block that only has a title – no content. I don’t want it to say, “This is a full width text block. Click the edit button to change this text.” I just want it to be blank. No spaces, nothing. I had this working until applying the code from this thread. But now it’s back to how it was originally, with that message.
How can that be fixed? Thank you.
That code broke my site completely. It took me several hours to figure it out but a friend who knows php pointed out the lack of quotes. Once I changed it to this, the site is back up:
case “'<p>This is a full width text block. Click the edit button to change this text.</p>'”;
Unfortunately, this does not help the situation. This problem still remains:
Do you have any other suggestions? The original code given to me worked like a charm, but it was apparently negated by the code you gave me at the beginning of this thread, which solved the problem of everything changing to lower case all the time.
I’d love to have both problems solved at the same time, if possible.
🙁
You definitely solved the problem! Excellent. Thank you!!
Unfortunately, it did cause another problem. I believe that php code was suggested to me (by you) in this thread:
Is there a way to fix both problems at the same time?
This reply has been marked as private. Thanks, Kyle. I do see your dilemma.
Perhaps a little more in the written documentation then. It sounds silly but a sentence saying: “To create a blog page, select blog element in the page builder…” would even be helpful for some people.
Things are always easy when you know how. But if you are newbie, none of this is easy.
Keep up the good work. To reiterate, I do love you guys and Neighborhood. 🙂
I, too, love the theme (and you guys) but I have to agree with the previous posters that the lack of video tutorials is somewhat hindering. I’m having problems making a simple blog and have been searching all over the forum with different keywords to track down anything that might help when I ran across this thread.
I see it’s from 1 3/4 years ago and there are still no new video tutorials (except the one mentioned above) that I can find.
Maybe it would eliminate some impact on your forums if you had more up front video instruction? I always feel bad asking simple questions that should be easily found in a support video somewhere. 🙁
Yay!!! Thank you. 🙂
Any word on the extra class for single image option as mentioned above? (I am interested in it, too, as I would like to reduce the margin under the image.)
Thanks…
Got it. Thank you. I was confused by the inclusion of it in your demo page. Glad you clarified. 🙂
Oh wow, I am blind. Thank you!
One last question. You show a “short fat” divider on your theme demo but I can’t figure out that either. It seems to only give a choice between regular, thin, or dotted (or go to top). Am I missing something?
Thank you very much!
Really? Oh! I thought all those buttons were yours. Very strange. That button doesn’t work – I wonder where it came from.
Well, that answers that. Thanks so much and sorry to bother you. 🙂
Now I’m more confused. Are you saying that I can’t use the option through the “Swift Page Builder”, even though it is there?
And if I edit page.php, do I have to do this for every page I create? What happens when the theme is updated? This seems to defeat the purpose of having a “Swift Page Builder.”
I would like to have “read more” with more information on my page, and saw this option (see screenshot) and when I select it, I see what is in the other screen shot. However, nothing shows on my page. If I select text before choosing this option, still nothing shows.
I have not seen this anywhere in your documentation, nor can I find any directions while searching your forum.

You must be logged in to view attached files.Hi Ed,
Oh wow, this is very strange! When I originally created those pages, the icons did include the fa-prefix, but when I went back to look at the code just now, only the names were there without “fa-“. (Also, the icons used to be visible and now they aren’t.)
I also notice that now when you wish to place an icon on the page through your visual editor, you can select them by image rather than name – great improvement!!!
Perhaps that change somehow changed all of the “fa” parts of the code? I don’t know. It’s very mysterious. I only know that at some point all of the icons disappeared.
But now I know how to fix them because of your question, so I’m happy. Sorry for the bother.
Thank you! 🙂
