I realize that I can do that for pages, but I asked if it can be done for BLOG POSTS. The ‘Page Meta’ section isn’t available for posts.
January 4, 2016 at 7:36 pm in reply to: Full screen video issue when using boxed page layout #238232Thanks, that worked!
I do have the child theme activated with modifications to header.php. I have replaced that file alone and the issue has been resolved. Thanks for the prompt response.
I am still having the full-width issue after updating to version 3.02 as well. Please provide fix asap. Thanks
I’m having the same issue, but I don’t have any missing braces or CSS code issues. I have added all of my CSS to “http://elitesoundentertainment.com/newsite/wp-content/themes/dante-child/style.css”, but nothing is showing up. When I log in to my WordPress admin, I have added the CSS to dante-child/style.css using the Appearance->Editor section and it shows up there. Any idea what could be happening here?
Awesome, thanks!
Can you please be more specific? I’m not finding it. Thank you.
Can you tell me where the 2nd instance is located (which line #)? I’m not finding it.
Yeah, I already did that, but no luck.
I got this to work, but it doesn’t seem to be working on my iPhone. I want the number to be 3.5, but it’s still rounding up to 4 on iPhone. You can see what I’m talking about if you go here and scroll down to the “Tour Details” section: http://atlantafoodwalks.com/.
Like I said, it works fine on desktop. Any clue why it won’t work the same on smartphones? See attached screen shot.
Thanks,
Ben

You must be logged in to view attached files.Kyle, I know that is where to edit the code, but I do not want to overwrite my changes the next time I update the theme. If this is the solution, can you provide me with the code snippet that I can add to the CHILD THEME’s functions.php file? (not trying to be rude, but this is the 3rd time I’ve asked)
I’m just not experienced with overriding PHP in child theme’s so if you can help me with what needs to be added to the functions.php file, I’d be forever grateful.
Thank you in advance,
BenI have already tried using the Blog settings in the Theme Options and it’s not solving the problem. The attached screenshot shows what I currently have it set to and it’s still showing the author name in the ‘Swift Framework Recent Posts’ widget (see previous screenshot from above). Please propose a different solution or provide the code to override it in the child theme’s functions.php file. Thank you.

You must be logged in to view attached files.I’m not seeing an option to remove the author name from the Swift Framework Recent Posts widget. Please see attached screen shot. I am wanting it to just show the date and not the “By Dr. Kathe Ana” part.
If this hasn’t been included as an option yet, can you please provide the code snippet for me to add to the child theme functions.php file to remove the author name?
Thanks,

You must be logged in to view attached files.I just figured out what was causing the issue. When I removed the blank spacer shortcode from between the two text block sections, the sidebar went back up to the correct spot. Apparently it didn’t like having a shortcode separating the two text block shortcode sections. Consider my issue resolved.
That didn’t work either. When I view the source, it shows that the sidebar isn’t going inside the ‘.inner-page-wrap’ div. See attached screen shot.
