I’ve never been able to import any menu content, no matter how many times I run the importer or whether or not I re-set all of WordPress and install everything fresh. Pretty frustrating. I’ve always installed and activated all plugins before running the demo importer.

Any tips on importing the menu items so I can try to figure out how you all set up the menu?

Thanks for this reply. I’ll check this out. Do you know how to get a Max Mega Menu dropdown to extend wider than the main menu items? You have this in the Uplift Demo and I can’t seem to figure out how to achieve this.

Also, do you know how to import the demo content for the Uplift theme that includes the menu items so I can look to reverse engineer your demo menu items?

That’ awesome, thanks. I also changed the link for the thumbnail image next to the excerpt to go to $pin_link rather than the permalink for the $post->ID in order to keep the links consistent.

I’ll pull this file down to my local install so I don’t overwrite it later. Are you going to be making this change in a future theme update, or should I consider this a very nice custom personal favor and write a filter for it or otherwise keep it as a custom edit?

Okay, that worked great! It seems like (correct me if I’m wrong) it’s not possible to edit the default Max Mega Menu settings. I’ve tried editing a few things and the edits didn’t take effect. Are you all overriding the default settings to make everything work with the theme?

Yes, I see this setting and have it selected. It applies fantastically to regular Main Menu navigation items, but I can’t seem to get it to apply to Mega Menu Main Menu navigation items.

I don’t have an example posted to a staging server but I’ll push from local to staging now and reply with a private message with login credentials to a staging server.

Thanks for getting back so quickly.

Turned off all plugins except WooCommerce and SwiftFramework and the issue persists.

The main image there has the alt tag alt=”ChargePoint-CT4011-electric-car-charging-station-EVSE-1″ which is the file name minus the .jpg extension

However, the correct alt tag, as shown on the product listing page http://smartchargeam.staging.wpengine.com/ev-chargers/ is alt=”ChargePoint CT4011 electric car charging station EVSE – close-up view”

Feel free to log into the Staging server.
