@yeloman / @rpd2 – any chance you can provide FTP details in a private reply, would like to check this out further. Rest assured I will do all I can to find the root of the issue!

Just testing here on my laptop on a 3G connection with the iPad simulator and this is what I see – http://d.pr/v/pMzt/5PXoEsCO
I installed the new build but im getting this.
Hi @yeloman,
Was that using the build I just posted? The latest one? Will double check this.
Yes its the build you just posted above.
That’s odd, as I said it worked for @rpd2.
Can you provide your FTP password in a private reply? I’ll go ahead and install it for you to save the back/forth.
Thanks, uploading now.
Sorry still getting the same problem.
Hello Ed,
i can not reproduce the speed on ipad you mentioned. I try to install the latest update of IOS7, to see if there is a difference in speed.
That’s very odd. I’ve had a further look and I think this is the issue: https://www.dropbox.com/s/2krnpnya3i6a7qi/Screenshot%202014-07-11%2011.26.46.png
The group/owner should be the same. Is this something you can check with your host?
As an example of proving that permissions aren’t correct, you’ll see here when in Appearance > Editor, where a save button would appear with correctly set permissions: https://www.dropbox.com/s/lwqli9hfertvgpj/Screenshot%202014-07-11%2011.29.07.png
We’ll keep looking to see if there is anything we could do, but as I said before it’s definitely permissions that are causing all these issues.
@woerdhvd – as far as I remember, the browser was greatly improved with iOS7. Let us know.
@yeloman – all sorted now!
Thanks for your patience. Let me know if there is anything else.
