    Hi,

    Just tried everything I know, and this install is really messed up.

    We reached our limit to help you on this, better to get a new hosting company. Some of them do free migrations and just done can be enough to get your site working, I believe the issue is somewhere in your server settings. It’s just not our jurisdiction.

    I seem to be getting in deeper.

    This morning before really doing anything I copied the database and changed name of index.html back, permissions set to 755
    And now I am getting the following error.

    You don’t have permission to access / on this server.
    Additionally, a 403 Forbidden error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
    Its completely blocked me out.
    Can you advise please.

    Hi John,

    That is not related to the theme, this is a server issue and you really must insist that your hosting company takes a look at this.
