This happened when I launched the site, the font pkg that I have uploaded is not working and all of the formatting is totally messed up. Also all of the portfolio items from the “Our Equipment” page, and drop down is not working. Please assist ASAP!

It seems that the font is not being loaded because of the https protocol.
It’s advised to use the HTTPS plugin
https://wordpress.org/plugins/wordpress-https/Regarding the portfolio you should try to deactivate all plugins except SwiftFramework and Woocommerce.
If you have any modifications in the child theme you should also active the parent theme to discard any situation caused by the child theme.

October 22, 2015 at 4:46 pm #222605Can you explain this to me in more detail please?
If you have any modifications in the child theme you should also active the parent theme to discard any situation caused by the child theme.
October 22, 2015 at 4:47 pm #222606And are you recommending that I use (https://wordpress.org/plugins/wordpress-https/) this plug in rather than Securi??
October 22, 2015 at 4:50 pm #222607Hi,
1) If you activate the parent theme, we can test for errors. If there are no errors, the issue is within the child theme.
2) “And are you recommending that I use (https://wordpress.org/plugins/wordpress-https/) this plug in rather than Securi??” – Those are two completely different plugins. Rui is asking you to also use the https connection if you are using a secure site.

October 22, 2015 at 4:54 pm #222611Hi David!
I have built my whole site on the child theme. If I activate the parent theme will it mess anything up with the Child?
October 22, 2015 at 4:56 pm #222612No it won’t change anything in the child theme, it will only disable the functionalities you added in the child theme while the parent theme is activated.

October 22, 2015 at 4:58 pm #222613So is it something like, when I activate it, you run error tests and then we deactivate it? I guess I am confused by this: it will only disable the functionalities you add while the parent theme is activated
October 22, 2015 at 4:59 pm #222615Go Daddy says I need to : you need to modify whatever part of the site is using that font to load the font over HTTPS. To make the font package work, can you help with this??
October 22, 2015 at 5:00 pm #222616I edited my reply above.

October 22, 2015 at 5:04 pm #222619Hi,
That should happen automatically.
Please install this plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/wordpress-https/
