@Naci Yeah, it’s right. Your code could be added in order to control a custom excerpt, very helpful in case you would add the sharing function over social networks to team-member.

In fact Facebook automatically gets the excerpt as post description.

Hi Ed,

I simply suggested to add Swift Page Builder and Swift Slider for custom post types and categories, like as regular posts.

I think that your page builder is simply amazing, so why don’t to use it also for custom post types, like team, jobs or others created by third-parts plugins ?

Same thing for Swift Slider, using custom post types, i have to create a revolution slide for each one, and show it at the top of a page instead of swift. It’s pesky and stodgy!

Another suggestion for Swift Slider, it’s make possible the choose of showing the most popular (or loved) regular and custom posts (maybe even choosing category), in order that most loved items may have an automatic exposure in the slides.

Hope this makes sense.

I’m sorry but maybe we misunderstood. I was not asking for a solution to the customization of my website and plugins, I already have 2 developers working for me ;-).

I opened this post just to know how develop, together with them, another feature of the theme that I think can be useful.

Having created a slide manually for each post with “revolution slider”, which I then added to the page as an alias instead of swiftslider (and it tooks me 2 hour to do it), i think it would be nice for all users if this process was automatic, directly with swiftslider, removing a further limit operation for flexform and swiftslider 😉

You have to go in ->Appeareance -> Widget and add Swift Framework Portfolio Grid or SF Portfolio Recent in the sidebar which you want it’s shown.

You have to simply add the WooCommerce “Shop” page in the main menu or as widget in the sidebar.

If you want remove the cart in the topbar, turn off the “show cart aux” in Flexform Options -> Header options

Hi Ed,

thanks for your response. It was what I had done, but it returned the following error :

Warning: include() [function.include]: URL file-access is disabled in the server configuration in /var/www/virtual/domain.tld/root_fld/wp-content/themes/flexform/functions.php on line 30

There was a problem in my .htaccess, due to other plugins configuration that rewite url in different way, so i had to use get_stylesheet_directory(), and everything works perfectly.

Hi guys,

i tried also to upload the entire page-builder folder in child theme, but it is the same, still doesn’t work.

I believe there is also need a new function.php file in the child theme folder, in order to replace the instructions “require_once” and “include” contained in the function.php of the theme parent who currently load the entire page-builder.

You can simply add this following code in Flexform Options > General > Custom CSS

.alt-two h3.wpb_heading { color: #000000 !important; }

if you want also change the bottom line color, after “!important;” but before the ‘}’ add this following code

border-bottom-color: #000000;

where #00000 is the hex code of color you want to use.
