    Hi David,
I checked the readme file in the zip and the version is 1.7 and it appears we have 1.66 installed. However when I check for updates, I get the “Plugin is up to date” response. Anyway, what is the process for doing a manual update? If I try to install the zip supplied I get an error so I assume I need to uninstall the plugin first and there does not appear to be an option to do that or even delete it.
    Regards,
    Iris

    Hi David,

I also discovered this issue today. The sidebar from post detail pages have disappeared since upgrading to WP 4.4. Has this been resolved? I don’t see any Theme update available in WP dashboard.

    Hi David,

I have created a page with Swift Slider (login and preview the “Page with Swift Slider” page). You can see the images in the sliders are not responsive and do not scale down. However, the title text over the background images does scale because of the custom css I have added to the theme. Without my custom css, the text remains big on smaller devices and so overlaps the images and content of sliders or hero images. To get a better idea, you should review all the screen grabs I sent you (as attachments to previous posts for this topic).

    Iris

    Hi David,

Yes, wordpress was installed as a multisite as we plan to have a Chinese version of the website in the future.

I have done the following, as requested:
    1) checked plugins and made sure they are not network activated
    2) expanded your login to network admin – please login with same details provided previously.

The database error (refer to my first post for this topic) is still occurring and I don’t think it is anything to do with the breadcrumbs. It is appears to be due to some conflict with the theme category-template.php and it only occurs on product detail pages.

    Regards,
    Iris

    Hi David,
Thanks for all your help. I ended up adding a whole lot of custom css (using media queries) to scale the banner images and adjust widths, depending on the device viewport being targeted. Now the site looks good on all devices.

I have to say I am disappointed that the Swift Slider is not responsive and you cannot use the revolution slider on any of the woocommerce generated pages. It means that if you are using the Atelier theme for an online shop (as I am) the banners cannot be optimised for mobile devices and therefore the theme is not really fully responsive. I do hope Swift Ideas can address this issue in a future update, soon.

    Hi David,
I added the code you provided and that fixed the issue though I am not sure why the padding would have changed. Anyway it’s looking good now.
    Thanks,
    Iris

    Hi Swift Ideas Support,

I also am NOT seeing the updates in the WordPress dashboard for your theme (but I used to). I am only getting emails from Envato to say that the theme has been updated.

Also can you advise whether custom css is kept during theme updates of Atelier or do I need to re-add them after the update?

    Regards,
    Iris

    Hi David,
I have had exactly the same issue with the other pages for which there is only a background image. The images end up getting cropped at the sides of the smaller devices. I have already started using the Rev Slider and fixed the Home Page which is now optimised for mobile devices. But I don’t know how to add a rev slider to the woocommerce pages for different product categories. For example, can you please look at the Shop page ( http://purenaturesbaby.com/motherandbabyproducts/shop/ ). How would I go about adding a rev slider there?
    Thanks, Iris

    Hi David,
Thanks for your help so far. I tried the css you suggested but the home page banner still does not look good and the css does not affect the banners (hero images) on the other pages.

I need to find a solution so that the banner images on home page and other pages of the site scale down and look good on phones and tablets. Can you please advise if the revolution slider plugin which came with the theme is fully responsive and optimised for mobile devices? Should I use that instead of the Swift Slider?

Any other suggestions would be most welcome.
    Thanks,
    Iris
