Hi Kyle, OK, I think I may have done it right now, if you can please take a look.
Thanks so much!
TaraThanks Kyle. I attempted to do what you suggested, and here’s a screen-cap of the WooCommerce > Settings > Products page.
I also went to Theme Options > WooCommerce options and set sidebar, but I still get no content on the Shop – with Left Sidebar page.
If you click in the main menu > Shop > Shop – with left Sidebar, the page that loads is blank.
I wonder if you can login to see what I’m doing wrong? or what’s causing the issue.

I want to do this in a child theme. Where do I go in my child them to input these changes?July 7, 2014 at 6:05 pm in reply to: Brand and color filter showing additional unwanted products #88739Also, on the filter page, why is it that I get blank spaces to the left, and what looks like random placement of products. I would like all products to fill the page using the grid, so that the 2 blank spaces shown in the screencaps are also filled with product info.
Thanks,
TaraOK, thanks! An option to set the time would be great, going forward.
Hi, as a follow up to my question. When I added another product as a “simple product” I was able to have the brand show up on the left of the page. A “simple product” allows me to select the brand in the “values” area and to check the box beside the “visible on the product page” option. Screencap attached.
But when, in the case of multiple items for a “variable product”, I don’t seem to be able to select the brand int the Brand box, I can only type it in. And consequently, the item does not appear by Brand in the left sidebar of the shop page – Only the “simple Product” brand name does.
I want the “variable Product” brand names to also show up under the Brand list on th eleft side (in the 3rd screen capture).
Thanks in advance for your help.
Thank you Mohammad! That is excellent! Thank you so much, excellent support!

I tried something else. I went to one (of 2) shop pages that i have in my pages, it’s on page 4 of 5, and clicked edit. (I don’t have the page options of Shop – sidebar left, or sidebar right – it’s as if those didn’t load with the demo content). Here, I chose the sidebar option, and chose WooCommerce Sidebar. Then, when I preview this page, it looks close to the demo content – screencap attached. However, when I click the Shop option in the navigation, and select “shop” or “Shop – with left sidebar” all I get is a blank “Shop” page, screencap also attached.

I have looked at WooCommerce Settings several times. However, the Shop – with left sidebar option does not appear in the drop down menu. I also do not have the Shop – with left sidebar as a page? I seem to have all the other pages installed with the demo content, but the Shop – with left sidebar, and shop – with right sidebar don’t appear in my pages, or in the drop down in WooCommerce.I can see that a sidebar shows on the shop page, if I select the sidebar option, and then select WooCommerce sidebar on the shop page.
Is there a way you can tell me how to get the shop – with left sidebar page to appear with sidebar and products, and maybe a step by step for the WooCommerce settings. I feel like I have tried everything I know to try, but cannot get it to show like the demo. This “Shop – wiht left sidebar” page is the last page set up I need to have working before I can throw myself in to rebuilding the site with the clients’ info.
Thanks so much!
