Either to haven’t read my comments or have misunderstood the issue.
We created sub-categories with the same name and DIFFERENT SLUGS and they still cancel each other out.
i.e.
Category=French Industrial, Sub-category=Seating (with slug seating-fi)
Category=French Showroom, Sub-category=Seating (with slug seating-fs)Different slugs.
Only French Showroom shows up.
Check for yourself: http://taffydev.com.au/clients/carousel-interiors/french-industrial/
Can someone else look at this issue for us?
April 3, 2014 at 10:52 pm in reply to: Not all Portoflio Categories not visible when Sortable #64404Yes because I have added a suffix to sub-categories that are named the same, i.e. Stoorage, Storage (MC) and Storage (FI).
If we lose the (MC) and (FI) then only the original Storage shows up.
That is the original issue.
Can this be looked at?
Resolved. It was because the page was in Swift Page Builder mode.

The slugs are definitely different.
I have had to rename the categories to get them to appear, but this is not ideal.
Can you forward to Ed for a solution?
Thanks,
Mark

The problem is they cannot be named differently.
Thoughts?
Yes indeed. Thanks.
I found the answer from Ed in another post.
You need some custom CSS to avoid having the column heading in the tablet portrait version of the menu.
#mobile-menu .menu-item a[href=”#”] {
display: none;
}Top stuff Kyle. You’re the bomb!
