Hi thanks alot for the hotfix!
This reply has been marked as private.Where exactly in the theme can I go tweak these ribbons?
September 19, 2013 at 4:12 pm in reply to: Create user account at checkout: Not user friendly at all #22902+1 Pleeease make this happen. I can’t believe WooCommerce would make a huge design flaw like this, I don’t even want to imagine the conversion loss due to this.
(I’ve seen some super basic WooCommerce themes who have one page for checkout, is it possible to revert to something like this in the meanwhile?)
How do the ribbons work (new/sale etc) – I’m thinking of somehow using those to accomplish what I want (have a ribbon for out of stock). Are they editable and where in the theme to go tweak that?
I think you need to relay this issue to the developer. All e-commerce themes have this built-in and it makes no sense not to have it. I’m not asking for an immediate fix but I think its one of those things that everyone wants and expects from an ecommerce shop so would be good for it to be addressed in future updates.
Thanks for the update. It’s good to know this function is being worked on, as it’s not something I have seen available anywhere whether it be as a WordPress themes or plugin. I think if you could just provide a way to manually select which product categories (or subcategoies/attributes) are included or excluded per dropdown box, that would already elevate this feature to a whole other level.
Cheers and keep up the great work!
Never mind, I seem to have resolved it by deactivating widgets in ubermenu.
Im having this problem too. I just set up the basic demo content on my VPS (with all the server requirements suggested) and it’s way slower and performing poorly.
