Unfortunately resetting permalinks as suggested in other threads didn’t resolve it. This problem seems to point out this line as the problem:
$thumbnail = apply_filters( ‘woocommerce_in_cart_product_thumbnail’, $_product->get_image(), $item );
Ive tested with the default 2014 theme and there is no problem. However with the Neighborhood theme it wont work even after disabling all plugins.
Just wanted to check in whether a solution had been found for translating the string “Confirm password” that is displayed in the checkout page when a user wants to create an account. I have checked WordPress/WooCommerce/Neighborhood theme in Codestyling Localization and none of them have this string. Perhaps someone knows which core file has this string and i can change it from there?
Thats great, thank you!
Hey the latest update still hasn’t added search option for header #4 but the code I mentioned above still works. The only thing is I noticed that there is now ajax search – what changes do I need to make so I can also take advantage of this ajax search function.
It works with the plugin but didnt want to bloat the installation any further with plugins, anyways guess I have no option. Thanks.
I’m also getting errors/warnings on checkout page after setting up SSL. There are two areas that need to be fixed:
Fonts – here’s the error in the Chrome console:
was loaded over HTTPS, but ran insecure content from ‘http://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Open+Sans:400,800,300,700’: this content should also be loaded over HTTPS.
and main logo.
That seems to have done it, thank you!
Im currently changing hosts, can you try it on your default install of the theme (there should be no difference at all)?
This is a good guide but it deals with form fields and not the coupon notification on the top. The easiest solution seems to be to have a page specific CSS that removes the coupon notification on the checkout page but not on the cart page, however Im not sure how to go about that.
That would turn off the coupons in the cart page – I still want to have the option to keep it there (just don’t want it in the final checkout step). In a previous version of the theme (before changes to the checkout pages) this was the default so I basically want to go back to that. Anyways if its really difficult I guess I can live with it, don’t want to waste your time on this when I have another more urgent request relating to the cache/wishlist problem.
Im not in a position to get any support from YITH. In fact its not even possible to reach them without buying something from them. I wonder how it is you can recommend users to install MaxCDN and W3TC in your knowledgebase when its not even functional with your theme.
I realize this is not a simple thing to troubleshoot but having seen dozens of developers on here posting their sites – I have not seen one of them that performs at a fast blistering pace that would make anyone believe that a cache plugin is not necessary. Basically I really hope there is some actual plan to get this fixed and Im not just waiting for nothing.
Thanks Melanie, sorry for the frustration but its been 5 weeks Ive been waiting for a fix for this. It’s quite annoying to be forced to ask my customers if they have a coupon code at checkout when I dont even have coupons.. The system was fine before an update decided us to forcefully add this…
Hi has there been any update to this issue? After spending months developing for this theme, it’s really a letdown to have a very slow site which I can’t speed up because installing cache leads to broken functionality..
December 29, 2013 at 11:30 pm in reply to: How to get rid of coupon notification on checkout? #39483I just said I can’t set up FTP access because I would like to stay PCI DSS compliant…. Don’t you guys have some test version installed somewhere??? Makes no sense to ask for FTP access for something that would equally be applicable to a default install.
