Ok, Yoast SEO does make my links show meta text. My main issue is that it doesn’t seem to control the image. How do I get the feature image to show? Otherwise, what’s the point of having a feature image for each page?

This reply has been marked as private.Hi Kyle!
I have the same issue with images + meta in links on FB and I’ve spent days trying to figure this out. I have set my logo as feature image on every page, but it still doesn’t show up on FB.
I have WordPress SEO and Facebook Open Graph installed.
I have tried activating and deactivating different plugins to see if there’s a conflict.
I can’t figure out what configuration is messed up. I know your support doesn’t cover plugins. But maybe the problem is really easy for you to see? I’ll provide login in the next post. Pleeease! 🙂

Sorry for bothering you, Kyle. Have an awesome weekend!
Seems to work too. Gonna try some more, but this seems to be the solution. 🙂
Hi again! I just want to post the answer I got from WooThemes Support regarding this matter, as someone else might have the same issue, problems with large amounts of data not saving (variations, rates etc):
Hello Angela,
Thank you for contacting WooThemes! I’m happy to help you with this.
So this is a very common issue where your server is not able to handle that much data. It is not a WooCommerce issue. Please implement everything listed in this documentation to see if it can resolve your issue

I’m emptying cache manually, so I don’t think that was the issue. I’ve made that mistake before though. 😉
I finally got it to work by doing what you said – put this code in the top:
.tp-bullets, .rev_slider_wrapper > .tp-leftarrow, .rev_slider_wrapper > .tp-rightarrow {
display: block!important;
}
@media only screen and (max-width: 768px) {
.tp-bullets.tp-thumbs {
display: block!important;
bottom: -70px!important;
}THANK YOU! Sorry for being your personal pain in the ass. You’re teaching me new stuff all the time. I do appreciate your help, Kyle. 🙂
Whop whop!

Yeah, I thought so too but it doesn’t work now. Confused! I’ve spent hours trying to figure it out. I’m attaching my rev slider settings in case that helps.

2) I must have not made my point clear. The nav arrows of the individual portfolio item standard slider should be CLICKABLE – just like normal rev sliders. Now, I have up to 4 slides on some portfolio pages, and they take very long to flip through automatically (and I don’t want to speed them up either). The user should be able to use the nav arrows to flip back and forth as he or she wishes. Otherwise, there’s not much of a point having nav arrows at all. You guys said you would fix this issue with the last update, so I haven’t changed all my portfolio sliders into rev sliders yet. If you don’t plan to fix this issue, that’s what I’m going to do. But I really think the unclickable standard sliders is an issue for more people than just me.
3) Cool! That code worked like a charm. Awesome!
Thank you, Rui!

Hola!
I don’t get it to work. Maybe I should clarify what the problem is. Please see my image.
On mobile – I need to get the nav thumbs visible but placed not too far below the rev slider.
On computer – Nav thumbs are visible and placed OK on computer.

My custom nav thumbs disappear on mobile with this code:
@media only screen and (max-width: 768px) {
.tp-bullets.tp-thumbs {
display: block!important;
bottom: -160px!important;
}I’ve been trying to play with it back and forth. No luck. I’m missing something. What should I do? I want them visible but not placed too far below the slider.

July 24, 2014 at 10:53 am in reply to: Clickable portfolio thumb sliders + portfolio item page slider #94381Hi! I installed the update. Thanx! Here is my situation now:
1) the portfolio thumb sliders should now be clickable (just like portfolio thumb images are)
This works! Yes! Very happy about this. Thanx!
2) and that the standard slider on individual portfolio item pages should have clickable nav arrows (so that one can flip back and forth between the slides)
This still doesn’t work, I believe. http://monroedesign.se/portfolio/tatuering-vaggdekor-portratt/
3) I tried this code to remove the accent color hover screen on thumb images. It worked, but I want the white arrow to remain. How do I keep the white arrow?
figure .overlay {
background-color: #59C3C4;
display: block!important;
color: #FFF;
}Thanx!

I’m back! I tried to install the theme update Kyle sent me. The problem is that I get an error message saying that I already have the 1.8 version installed. How do I make a parallel installation?
I have quite a few of customizations to redo every time I update, so it would be awesome to know which files are updated?
By the way, the trip was awesome! Amsterdam was my personal favorite of Copenhagen-Berlin-Barcelona-Paris-Amsterdam. Super friendly and open-minded people there.
