    Hey Cosmin,
    Thanks for getting back,
I just used the resize of a desktop browser as an example to show you what I meant figuring you would be viewing this on a desktop or laptop.

The problem I speak of is actually even more pronounced when viewing on a mobile device.
When an accordion is opened and then an other one gets opened below that one (rather than scrolling up to close the current one) it leaves the view way down at the bottom of the page and in this case on my phone it has them looking at content in the footer rather than bringing them up to the newly opened accordion heading.

Same fix as what you suggested above?
    Cheers.

NO I do want the mini header active. But what I mean is that the navigation menu is not in the same place. Sorry it may be tough to tell just because there is only one menu item right now but the screen captures should show you.

The first one is how the menu looks before the mini header appears.
The second image shows how the mini header looks. As you can see, the nave page HOME has moved up closer to the top and has lost the blue pointer under it.

    Thanks.
    /Ryan

Cool, but would you mind sharing then how you formatted your footer column with the contact info?

Curious as to how you got the full width text and two column text bits under that.

In a text widget can you just build divs and make it a mini html layout or can the shortcodes or swift builder elements be used?

    Thanks.

Maybe this could be done by using a jpeg as the header background that has a design on the upper part and all white below as in your example. If the logo and nav get to close it is possible to use the admin options to give space from the top on both those elements. This might only work in the boxed layout option, but if the header spans the full screen in wide mode then perhaps the same effect could be achieved using a back ground image also.

    Rad, thanks.

By adding in a mini logo will that push the nav menu back over to the right or is that something completely different?

About update 1.3> Will the new download show a list of all the new changes?

About update 1.4 > would be such a worth wile feature to have the option to make both those choices right within the admin. Would strengthen this theme even further than it is for sure. Shoot for 10,000 sales & retire!

    Thanks again ED.

Ah yes. I forgot you mentioned that when I got side tracked on seeing how the mini header worked.

    I’ll check it out, thanks.

Sorry, the gap actually was cause by still being within the wordpress editor. Even though I had a separate Safari window open used to refresh and see changes it made that gap where the WP top bar would be. Once I logged out of wordpress the gap was gone.

Sorry for that confusion. Fixing the header in place  is the topic of this post still.

    Thanks.

I should not that this gap only seems to be visible in Safari. I tried running safari as IE8 mode and it showed the gap also. Chrome & Firefox snug it it right up to the browser window. I’m guessing that once I get the header in a fixed position that the page content will be visible in that gap on Safari when it scrolls through it.

Actually, when adding a temp header BG colour to see the positioning I notice there is a gap between the top of browser & where the header starts. Is this for the Top Bar, but because its turned off it doesn’t show but still uses up the space?

Cool, didn’t know that is what the mini header did. Unfortunately how it functions isn’t what  is desired. Loosing the logo & having the menu change position doesn’t work for them.

I’ve been asked to shrink the height of the header by 20-30px and then have it remain fixed at the top of the page.

They currently like the logo size & nav sive so reducing them to make a shorter height on the header box isn’t an option.

Could you please help with this by sharing where to look & what to add or remove.

I’ve done some google searches on fixed headers but then opening your php file boggles me.

    Thanks

Ah, I didn’t know you had this option. Is it something that turns on/off in the header settings?
