Still no resolution to this matter?

January 28, 2016 at 12:56 pm in reply to: Control which portfolio item shows up on "show next" #244469Hi,
I’m noticing that this issue still is not resolved. My own page, but also a client’s page: http://dalaspeak.se/?page_id=19
Latest Joyn update and the checkbox for Category Navigation ticked. How can I resolve this matter?Thank you,
Hey Kyle, sorry to bounce back to you again, but my hosting service answered me that “There are no server issues slowing your website down for the moment, of what we can see.” Instead, they are asking me to inactivate all plugins (which I’ve already done) but also to inactivate my theme.
1.) Can I change theme to try what they are suggesting and then just change back without any issues? It scares me…2.) Maybe I should just leave them for a proper WP hosting service. Would this be your suggestion?
Thanks!
Thanks, Kyle, I’ll contact my hosting service with these issues. Hopefully I can stick with Joyn!
Sorry, I accidentally posted the same link twice. Correct Divi-test result link: http://tools.pingdom.com/fpt/#!/eHBpKH/http://divi.naula.se
I understand, thank you.
But if I run a speed test on http://www.naula.se (the landing page) the loading time is only 0,5 sec: http://tools.pingdom.com/fpt/#!/dkQ5gP/www.naula.seAnd I tried to install the theme Divi on the same server and here the loading time is only 3 sec: http://tools.pingdom.com/fpt/#!/eHBpKH/http://divi.naula.se
Of course, these “test environments” doesn’t really consist of any webb content, but since we are looking at the loading time before the theme actually starts to load.
Thanks, but client is now happy, so I’m happy too. 😉
Yes. Since I couldnt find a way to increase the size I used a really rough/customized Custom CSS to hide the real logo and the space for the header, and then I added an image instead.
#header {
display:none;
}#logo {
display:none;
}Unfortunately it doesn´t work on mobile/tablet devices though. Could you help me with that instead, bc now I have an image of the logo instead.
1000x209px, just like my original image
Hi, I tried the very same custom-css as above to resolve my own problem with showing a big logo, but it didn’t do anything.
Can you also please look into this one? http://www.grabbgardenentreprenad.se/?page_id=20
The logo image is now 1000x209px and I would love to try it huge like this. I’ve cleared the custom CSS. Max Logo Height is now set to “209” px.
Thank a lot!
Heard anything from the developing team?
Regarding:First page on http://www.mindconnect.se has four flipable icon boxes with text on the backside.
1. If you click them on a mobile device they stay “turned” and never goes back.
2. Also, on iPad; not all the text is shown, it doesn’t fit the box and gets cut.And what about mobile/tablets..?
Not sure this fix will do it. Maybe I need to solve my problem with existing methods, leaving the tagline. Tagline seems very problematic.
See, I got an error when using this code, although it do the trick on desktop devices. Still on mobile it’s back to the “original” size and lacing space between the logo.
See images.
