Hello,
I have done as you suggested several times and just did it again after your recommendation. The problem still persists.
The files do not exist on the server. In fact the file structure it is looking for does exist inside the plugin folder but the files do not. It seems like it’s some sort of a path issue.
Do you know which file for revslider would hold all the paths? I can perhaps go in there and manually update where it should be looking for the files.
Also seeing this error in the “view source” `setREVStartSize();
function revslider_showDoubleJqueryError(sliderID) {
var errorMessage = “Revolution Slider Error: You have some jquery.js library include that comes after the revolution files js include.”;
errorMessage += “<br> This includes make eliminates the revolution slider libraries, and make it not work.”;
errorMessage += “<br><br> To fix it you can:<br> 1. In the Slider Settings -> Troubleshooting set option: <strong><b>Put JS Includes To Body</b></strong> option to true.”;
errorMessage += “<br> 2. Find the double jquery.js include and remove it.”;
errorMessage = “<span style=’font-size:16px;color:#BC0C06;’>” + errorMessage + “</span>”;
jQuery(sliderID).show().html(errorMessage);
}
var tpj=jQuery;
`If this doesn’t get me anywhere can you guys go in and upload the newest version of the theme for us without deleting any content?
Thank you so much for all your help.

LOL both I as the client and our clients are having problems. I think we can call that “client-side” too.
This is a bit absurd. They need to optimize this clunky theme.
I started a thread on this and it hasn’t been acknowledged in a few days.
As I have pointed out before I personally think this is a server-side problem not a client-side problem (css-minifying, image-size, etc.). If you look at the number of SQL-queries that is necessary for this theme to load a single site it is up to 10x as much as any other theme I have used before.
By “client-side problem” do you mean because they made a clunky theme that we are buried in production costs with… we being the clients have a problem with it? – Then yes.
They need to optimize this theme stat.
I would like to add that we are also having load time issues with this theme and not because of our image sizes (weight).
Ed. Just installed the 3.0.7 Revolution slider included in the new folder. I now cannot use the “Import” button and the “General Settings” button.
I notice on their website 3.08 is the newest version of the slider… Do you believe this is the issue?
Here’s a weird thing: on the plugins page it shows that the version of the slider is 3.0.7
However, on the actual revolution slider page it shows version 3.0.8 in the bottom right hand corner.Ed. Thank you I will do that ASAP and will post here to let you know if it’s fixed so you can close this out.
It is an ERROR read my first post
Well I would gladly change the “General Settings” however, when I click on that button nothing happens. It’s a dead button. I tried this in IE, Opera, Chrome and Safari.
That’s what I had originally and it causes and error:
Revolution Slider Error: If you want to use the PHP function “putRevSlider” in your code please make sure to check ” Include RevSlider libraries globally (all pages/posts) ” in the backend’s “General Settings” (top right panel).
Or add the current page to the “Pages to include RevSlider libraries” option box.
Then Melanie changed it to be a shortcode which is not my intended result.
Can you please go in and fix this error?
I see you added the shortcode [rev_slider homeslider] to the actual page. This doesn’t fix my problem because I want the slider to look like the slider in the demo. This one is in a container not full width.
How do I make it look just like the slider in the demo?
Thank you
