December 17, 2014 at 12:12 pm in reply to: Youtube fullscreen icon doesnt work in video posts #136279
As you see bottom right of the attached image, no fullscreen icon shows up. When a video is placed INSIDE of a post and not just in the header it does show the fullscreen icon. The fullscreen icon is also missing in your demo, so the problem lies in the way you have coded the site to show video at the top of the page.
Most people who click in to a post to watch a video will want to open it fullscreen so you guys should really fix this. At the moment you have to click through to youtube and then click fullscreen which is not acceptable.

You must be logged in to view attached files.Thats great it seems to be working now. thank you.
Thanks, but I already have the latest update and pagination is still not working. Please advise.
Hi, it would be really cool if you could set a black background to stretch full width of the page behind videos when they are used, to provide more focus to the video, such as is done here:
Surely this is a general issue, not related to only my website?
I cant do that, I have too many incoming links dependant on how they are now. What else can we do?
thanks.
Ok, but correct me if I am wrong, but dont you reference these files somewhere in DANTE which is why they are coming up missing? In which case, shouldn’t they be in the ZIP? DO I now need to go and search for the following on the web, or can you tell me where I can delete the reference to this font? Do I even need it?:
themes/dante/fonts/glyphicons-halflings-regular.woff
themes/dante/fonts/glyphicons-halflings-regular.eot
themes/dante/fonts/glyphicons-halflings-regular.svg
themes/dante/fonts/glyphicons-halflings-regular.ttfThat sounds easy, but I don’t see any fonts folder in the dante zip?
ok thanks, I will try to figure it out myself sometime.
It still says posted by admin, on the single page:
http://derestricted.com/design/ride-100-the-barstow-classic-legendAnd in the masonry excerpt:
After looking at it I think due to the way its been coded the only way to fix it is to edit the single.php file. Please correct me if I am wrong.
thanks, that makes sense. I have copied the child theme folder into the same folder as the dante theme. DO i need to activate the child theme with some code or is just putting it in the themes folder enough?
2: Yes using the Page Builder you can simply use a Posts carousel.
I thought of this, but how do you use the page builder for the default single.php template?
I’m guessing you cant, so what would the code be to embed a posts carousel in single.php?thanks
– TO say this another way, where and how can I set the large image size to be the same size as the header images in posts.
– is there an easy way to ad a post carousel to the bottom of single posts?
thanks.
