Hi Rui,

the thing is that the focus is NOT on when the vistior kicks on the input field BUT first the visitor has to click on the icon to get the focus into the input field.
I think this is because the javascript keeps the behaviour from the “hidden/animated” search field.
And now when the field is visible, thats to your code from here http://support.swiftideas.net/forums/topic/keep-search-box-open/, the focus behaviour has to be also updated.

So I wonder how to changed it?

The installation is local 🙁

is the code working with Neighborhood theme? I want as well move the animation effect on the search box and have it always visible in the meny. I tried to use the code mentioning in http://support.swiftideas.net/knowledgebase/how-to-move-the-ajax-search-box-to-show-below-rather-than-to-the-left/ but no changes are visible on my Neighborhood theme (the site is still local so cant send you any link 🙁

No I don’t, as I said when I set up a project in POEdit and set specifically the UTF-8 in it the Swedish letters are now shown correctly in the theme. So you can close this ticket/issue.

I used the default settings in POEdit and they where NOT UTF-8 so now I create a project in POEdit and specific set the UTF-8 on coding the po-file is correct and the Swedish letters are shown correctly 🙂

And btw the “define(‘DB_COLLATE’, ”);” is always in the wp-config.php by default so it was as well in my file.

In this case it was the non set coding in OPEdit since its not set by default. Good to know for all those who works on the translations in POEdit 🙂

it seems to be a bug with the “Default Product Sidebar Config” setting as the Pixelix pointed out. I have the same issue.

I select on the theme setting page “Default Product Sidebar Config” & “Default Product Left Sidebar” & “Default Product Right Sidebar”, see the attachment.
Then when I check the product page, let us say produkt “Blue carpet”, the product page has the sidebar BUT as soon as I update something on the “Blue carpet” product page (for example change the price or ad some attribute, what ever) AND press the Update button the sidebar disappears.

I checked the custom fields (sf_right_sidebar, sf_sidebar_config, sf_left_sidebar) and noticed that after when a product is updated the Product Meta fields OVERWRITES the “Default Product Sidebar Config” settings and saves the default per page EVEN you don’t change the Sidebar Options->Sidebar configuration-> No sidebar (NOTE wrong help text here…Choose the sidebar configuration for the detail page of this portfolio item.)
And the result is… the custom field “sf_sidebar_config” get overwritten with value “no-sidebars” which is not correct and NOT wanted and makes the sidebar suddenly disappear 🙁

Please forward this ti Ed to take a look at and the solve the obvious BUG!

I totally agree, also I dont like when the sidebar “jumps” when the user clicks from the category view page to the singel product page. The sidebar should be consistent on the all pages its shown.

Yes, please make it possible to make a SEARCH by THEME, its not so much user friendly to need to read 200 posts not relevant to find maybe 1 or 2 relevant for the current theme and issue… 🙂
