    > david jquery code not working. not sure why google.com/cart is specified as the default url.

i know this may be old school, but it would be great to achieve this with plain old js. 😉

    > david, amendation, that was the error i was getting, until i got the css syntax right in the queryselector (no space between the classes fixed the problem). now chrome does not complain about anything and queryselector is working correctly as i am testing everything in the chrome console. but the href redirect is being blocked by something.

thank you. will install and use this one for now, as it seems the security holes were fixed by the plugin developer and wp.

    tx Ed!

In the meantime, can Swiftideas support advise if RevSlider is now safe to use (per last year’s malicious attacks/patches)?

If so, is there a download page somewhere in Swiftideas.com where I can download a safe or approved version? Or does it come bundled with Atelier somehow?

Thanks as always for your help.

i completely agree. but this would cost hundreds $$$ extra per year with the hosting company. i would love a sandboxed dev/test env. client not ready to pay for that until it is proven that this site is worth the additional expenditure. in other words, it has to pay for itself by showing that this theme (measurably helps) sell stuff (vs the generic boring woocommerce free storefront). which is why i am more focused on performance issues and less on front end design niceties. speed is king. and no new wp version installs allowed at this point unless absolutely necessary and required for cc security.

i flushed mem cache everywhere i could browser, backend through the cpanel, etc, and now the fonts are mysteriously back to normal. What a relief! Who knows how and why this happened.

as of now, now more new WP version installs no matter what, unless my client risks PCI non compliance as a result.

thank you for looking into this, though.

    cheers

sorry i am not sure i understand
if you go to this page
    https://needlepoint.land/wp-admin/post.php?post=15612&action=edit
i think that you will clearly see that i used swift builder to add a swift slider instance about half way down
it is embedded in a row element

i am using the wrong terminology or something — i am trying to be as precise as possible

    the page is called qlook
it can be found (obviously) in the pages menu option off the sidebar

if you dont see a slider on that page, then this problem is a lot more serious than i thought
