I want to show more information inside clients pages,
not only hide some parts.

I want to edit Clients Custom Post Types (CPT),
because I want show with look feel of portfolio, not as blog.

How can edit Clients CPT in a Dante child theme?

Ok, I understand that it’s necessary hide with a bit CSS.

For the moment in this pages:
Blog, Archive pages, Search results, Clients page, Blog Page Slider and Blog post (under img).

(If appears more pages, I’ll try add some extra classes in my custom CSS)

Hi again Ed!!

I have an idea about this issue, will be another way:

Will be show Category Clients custom post type in filterable portfolio?
Obviously in categories Clients will be define the Sector of clients,
and in categories portfolio the skills.

But maybe this way it’s more complicated…
We will be mixing two custom types categories (portfolio+Clients)
in filter portfolio for one result (portfolio items)

Sorry, I’m thinking a lot arround this…

Hi Ed,

Check it in standard, gallery and masonry mode, it works in the same way.
If the portfolio items to show have more than one category,
the portfolio gallery filter shows all categories of the items.

Therefore, the filter portfolio categories page is not accurate…
they returns category items, no your selection categories to show.

If you help to change this behavior for me it’s functional as I want…
in this way it will be possible create to separate filterable portfolios with the same items.

And maybe this feature as improve will be good for other users.

I don’t have problem to show a filterable portfolio in different pages…
(one page for skills and another for sector)
Perhaps it would be simple, as said before:
If I could only show the selection filterable categories, I would a possible solution

It’s ok, but,,, I want two filterable ways for the same portfolio items…

I tried to combine categories from clients taxonomy
(skills defined again here) but I still fighting a lot with this,,,

Please, some help will be really welcome

Please, can you help me about this?

One way, that I imagine:
In portfolio Swift builder, I can select the categories that i want to show, ok.
But the problem it’s that returns all categories of the portfolio items, and appears mixed -selected and no-selected- (skills & sector)
If I could only show the selection filterable categories, I would a possible solution…

2. No idea,,,, maybe creating “function sf_portfolio_aux”

Yes, I agree with kevrossignon, I support your propossals,
And especially support points: 1 (transparency is another option), 2 & 3

And add more:

1. Ability to define columns in swift page builder, sometimes It’s really hard compose the elements.

2. Social links on author box which link to wordpress user (repeat propossal from craighome)

3. Option to move and/or duplicate position of navigation+share bottons in portfolio single
(I think that is better in two places, top and bottom.
In case that have only one, i prefer placed at the end of portfolio single contents)

4. In my opinion, it’s necessary add more contents inside search results when it doesn’t find anything. Maybe add a search form and a link to sitemap. Nowadays only it appears a sentence.

5. Option to create easy way One page content with set up a scroll to navigate inside

6. Super Necessary improve:
“Autoload” post in portfolio galleries, behind pagination, like demo blog galleries

7. Possibility to create extra custom fields and change the actuals.
(ie: add Sector add name of the client or change the date by show only the year, …)

8. Supersearch for Portfolio galleries:
I think that is really good offer different “filtreable” contents for portfolio contents, and Supersearch is expectacular!! (good work boys!!) Can you consider for yours updates? I think that it will be an differential advantage.
