    I must have had a cached version because it started happening again. I have since installed a chile theme plugin and created a fresh child theme that way and it works perfectly.

    Just in case someone else has the same issue.

    The pages are

    http://apothecarange.com/wishlist/

    and the dropdown boxes on the menu for the shopping cart and wishlist.
    You will just need to add a product to cart and wishlist
