Post Thumbnail – Video

The previous fix for the Video element for the swift page builder worked, but it’s causing something screwy with the main page blog functions for the video thumbnails.

Hey Cosmin, Sorry about that! I unlocked it. I forgot to turn that off.

I see… thing is that the masonry layout needs elements to not be fixed.

Try replacing my custom CSS in the general theme options, with this:

body:not(.home) .fluid-width-video-wrapper iframe, body:not(.home) .fluid-width-video-wrapper object, body:not(.home) .fluid-width-video-wrapper embed {
    height: auto !important;
    width: auto !important;
}

Will not work in IE…

Thank you Cosmin, that seemed to have done the trick in the home portion.

One more problem, would the categories have the same effect? If so, the custom CSS works on the home page, but not the category page.

The code I posted should work on any page except the home page – is that not the case for you?

That is correct Cosmin. If you go to the link above, then go to the blog section, and use the filter of the category, the category page (at least for me) is showing the red box still.

Try with this instead:

.blog-items .fluid-width-video-wrapper iframe, .blog-items .fluid-width-video-wrapper object, .blog-items .fluid-width-video-wrapper embed {
    height: auto !important;
    width: auto !important;
}

That did not work on the homepage, as well as the category pages. If anything, I will just tell people not to use the video option for now, it’s not that big of a deal 🙂

Still the same. I have 600×365 as a test size.. The Video stays the same size and looks as if is taking up more space than it needs.
