The easiest should be Overwrite with FTP to who is familiar with FTP.

I tried that and it failed – don’t worry, I used the Manual Update in the Slider Settings Plugin. All updated now.

It doesn’t help that plugins (not just Rev Slider) use a variety of ways to update – some work, some don’t. It makes updates very frustrating when there isn’t a set rule on updating. Not anyone’s fault – just the quirks of WordPress and every developer has their own way of running their plugins.

But it does drive me bonkers! :-/

Updated and now instead of just stopping after all the layers load, the image stays but the layers disappear. Site is here: http://quantumleap1000.com/

Slider settings are > Loop and progress:
    Stop After Loops: 0
    Stop At Slide: 1
    Show Progressbar: Hide
    Loop Single Slide: Off

Once the layers load I want the slider to stop with all layers visible.
I tried changing each of these settings but the sliders behavior did not change

Thanks in advance for your help!

    Hi @mrjWells,

You have an error in your Javascript console.
Didn’t you installed any additional plugin?
Do you have any cache mechanism? If so please purge all the caches.

    Hi Rui,
All plugins are the same as they were prior to the update, but just to be sure I tried deactivating all plugins except rev slider and nothing changed. There is no cache mechanism on this site. This page is doing the same thing: http://quantumleap1000.com/thank-you/

    OK just did it!

Erase the folder revslider via ftp.
    Install the revslider (older version).
Update via manual update with the new one 4.3.1

it works fine and didn´t lose the already done slides

    Regards

Still waiting for a response on #108826. Just in case I looked for a way to change permissions (via FTP) for the plugin but couldn’t find the permissions script.
