Images get turned on mobile

There must be some conflict, please remove the images from the media library and upload them in the correct orientation

Back then reuploading was the only fix.

I have got the same problem again on a different install. On iPhone and iPad images turn when they are corrected with the editing options in the library. On this website are a lot of editors who can upload there own galleries so it would be very unfortunate if a lot of those images are up side down on mobile devices.

It’s not a plugin conflict, but maybe something with safari?

Can you guys test this out?

Are the uploaded images by chance taken on a mobile device?

Have you tried this plugin? https://wordpress.org/plugins/image-rotation-fixer/.

It’s not a theme specific issue, it seems to be a core WP problem.
