File Permission issues after update to v1.61 and theme to 1.71

I added FTP details to wp-config.php
Now I don’t need to put FTP information when installing/uninstalling plugins.
But still the error message in my backend.

Thanks for that info – we have a new version of the redux framework from their developer, will be updating the theme and swift framework plugin shortly, to hopefully resolve this for good.

Hi @bochenn

The issue is due to your setup. If you try and install a plugin you’ll notice you need to provide your FTP details – this is the issue here. If you check this link it will explain how to add those details to your config that that you don’t need to provide them overtime, and also the permissions issue will go away – https://codex.wordpress.org/Editing_wp-config.php#WordPress_Upgrade_Constants

If you still need to input your FTP login on plugin install/WordPress update then this issue is still there. If the wp-config method doesn’t work then you’ll need to contact your host.
