    Hello Ed,

    the new theme works and the maintenance issue is gone.

    However, it leaves some damage behind in the ‘theme option’ section.

    Nothing is changed relating to the theme options – I would assume something went wrong with the upload and there is some missing files, or bad permissions – please check that?

    I deleted the installation and done it all over again, still the same issue.

    Done this four times, still the same result.

    It 100% looks like an upload error, there are lots of 404 errors (missing files). Please try the above. How are you installing it?

    Will give this a go now. Been installing as a zip through cpanel file manager then extracting it on there.

    That’s how i done the main neighborhood theme and others.

    I’ve just installed Atelier now and had the same problem 😮 – Will try this theme now and if it gives the same issue then there must be some gremlins elsewhere.

    Hello guys, good news!

    My hosting tech and I went through some series of diagnosis.

    He narrowed it down to the permissions in the theme folder. There were the meant to be 0755 & 0644 permissions on theme files.

    He ran a script to correct the permissions and all works now.

    Have a quick look at the permissions in the theme file you sent me to confirm this is the case at your end.

    Hopefully it will be the solution for everyone that might have the same issue as I did.

    Looking forward to hearing from you with a confirmation of our hypothesis so minds can be at rest 🙂
