Create Full Width Template Pages

The page builder needs to remain active, as we use this flag to detect whether or not to output the container around the content. This is needed else the page builder assets wouldn’t be able to be full width.

In fact, this issue it’s a problem,
because determined as we edit the content.

Sometimes I prefer edit with raw code (text);
for change or edit some data, copy parts between pages, etc
it’s more easy and fast!
(less visual, alright).

But now, when edit page in raw text,
we must change to HTML*, and then switch to
Page Builder before save it.

Really complex, don’t you think?

* Now, switch between raw text and SPB doesn’t works, SPB doesn’t load contents
But I want to remind these problem was solved in the past.

– what do you mean it does not load the content? Could you add a screenshot?

If the page load get’s stuck in the “Text” tab, please click the “Visual” tab, then click the “Swift Page Builder” button.

this is the gap: …the page load get’s stuck in the “Text” tab,
we must click the “Visual” tab, then click the “Swift Page Builder” button and works fine.

If we try switch between “Text” tab and “Swift Page Builder”,
the content never loads, appears “loading content…” indefinitely.

Today I discover new update theme, v3.16, in Changelog says:
Fixed issue with page builder switching
All Right!

But it’s worse than before…
When you switch between Visual or Text tab to SPB, window alert says
“By switching to the page builder, any content not in page builder assets will be removed for consistency.”

Nooo… the system delete a lot of customizations!!

Hi,

That should not happen, if you switch to the classic editor “Text” tab then “Visual” tab then “Swift Page Builder” it should process your existing shortcodes.

If this is not the case, please list the steps to replicate the issue.

We must click the “Visual” tab, then click the “Swift Page Builder” button,
then works fine.

But I want to remind these problem (text tab > SPB) was solved in the past.
