    Hi,
    The issue we were having has been resolved. Turns out it was some network/server settings that were causing the issue. We have another issue however, and I think you can help us with this.
    When we updated to the most recent version of the Pinpoint theme, a bunch of the sidebars, pictures, CSS and such all disappeared. How do we recover this?

    Hi,

    Check in settings-> Reading if your initial/home page is set to display.
    In appearance -> Widgets check if your sidebars have the content they had before.

    The update doesn’t change database info.

    So i figured out what happened. The new styles.css for pinpoint got rid of some of the classes our site was using. There was a class for instance called “connected” that was not in the 1.62 version. I fixed it by copying over the old CSS from version 1.3.

    My last problem is there are 2 buttons named “search jobs” and “order staff” on the very top of the header. I cannot figure out where the code is for these on the theme. Can you give me an idea where I might find this? Here’s a snapshot of the site:

    Thanks, that is helpful, however I need to know where the HTML is getting generated for these 2 buttons.

    Not generated by the theme, you must of added them manually

    Ok. Do you have any idea where to look to find that? Its not a plugin.

    I’m sorry I can’t find what you are talking about. I don’t have ‘topbar’ config’ options anywhere i can see. I’ve checked the theme > appearances, and also pinpoint theme options > header options.

    That seems to be custom code that is inside the file header.php
    Please check that file.
